At our annual DACHSER press conference in Munich, I reflected on our business development in 2023. My video statement summarizes the most important developments. Despite a challenging market environment we can look back with satisfaction. Our Road Logistics business was a very robust and stable backbone. In Contract Logistics, we expanded our global footprint. On the other hand, Air & Sea Logistics suffered from overcapacity and falling rates. We stayed on course, and more than that: We have invested not only in a series of strategic acquisitions to expand our global network but also in digitalization, climate protection and our people.  As consistent integration has always been our guiding principle, we want to link the processes and systems of our two business fields even more closely together in the future. TRATON Supplier Day for strong partnerships: On 9th November, the first TRATON Supplier Day, jointly hosted by our four brand CPOs Murat Aksel (CPO TRATON SE, CPO MAN Truck & Bus SE]), John van Rossum (CPO Scania Group), Peter Friberg (CPO Navistar Inc) and Evandro Pretel (CPO Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus), took place at the MAN Truck Forum in Munich. 230 main suppliers of the #TRATONGROUP, took the opportunity to talk to TRATON experts and executives and learn more about TRATON and our road ahead. Christian Levin (CEO TRATON and Scania Group), Alexander Vlaskamp (CEO MAN SE), Niklas Klingenberg (Head of Group R&D TRATON and Acting CTO Scania Group), Mathias Carlbaum (President & CEO Navistar Inc), and Dr. h. c. Antonio Roberto Cortes (President & CEO of Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus) not only presented our TRATON Way Forward strategy, but also gave insights on the values and working methods in the Group in keynote speeches. At #TRATON, our aim is to #TransformTransportationTogether. Our path is clearly defined. It leads from joint processes to joint project sourcing to a common modular system. With our TRATON Modular System, we're focusing on an end-to-end approach and placing customer solutions at the center of our activities. It's a huge opportunity not only for our TRATON brands but also for our suppliers as we offer fair and strategic partnerships at eye-level. Building strong foundations: The power of supplier relationships 🤝💼 Yesterday marked the start of our second #SupplierDays in our Division Industrial & Packaging (I&P), a three-day exchange in Stuttgart with some of our key partners.  The invited service providers were able to gain insights into different areas of new #WorldsofWork, supply chain management, sustainability and discuss future topics and developments relevant to the industry.
