Put through its paces - The fully automated test system for end-of-line testing at #BMW The test system is located at the Dingolfing site, the BMW Group competence center for e-drive production, and is used to test the latest generation of electrified powertrains. The remarkable thing is that it is possible to test up to eight different powertrain variants with a degree of automation of 100%. The system is structured into two independent test sections. In the first section, the basic functions and electrical safety are checked. The second section is dedicated to the evaluation of performance. Here, the acceptance of high torques by means of Driveline is possible. The extraordinarily high performance and test voltage allow tests at the highest level for all eDrive variants.
