🏆 Timo Boll (1981) is the best and most popular German and European table tennis player. In China he is also one of the most popular table tennis players in history. He is left-handed and uses the Shakehand grip. With the victory at the 2002 World Cup in Jinan, he became world number one 🌍
💡 The advantage of being left-handed in certain sports. A scientific study suggests that left-handers have an advantage over right-handers in certain sports, especially those that require a shorter reaction time, such as table tennis.
🤖🏓🙂 In 2014, Timo played a table tennis match against the KUKA AGILUS robot as part of a promotional campaign. The video of the “human vs. robot table tennis duel" has become the most viewed and popular video on the KUKA YouTube channel (14M). One year later Timo called AGILUS robot with a simple question: revenge? This second duel with a taste of music is also at the top of the viewer ranking (13M)💻.
