#MEETTHETEAM 💙 Get to know our Account Manager Jan Cavents! Jan has now been part of the KVMS team for more than three years. As Account Manager, he has daily contact with all relevant stakeholders: customers, suppliers, technicians, operations and back-office. We asked him some questions about his job, his hobbies and his future. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐛? My job is very varied. I regularly visit customers to discuss projects or to introduce novelties. I am also in daily contact with our technicians and with Jasper and Victor to discuss the latest developments. I can do my job in my own style and get the space to fill my schedule flexibly ⏰ This is a great advantage as a young dad and I appreciate this enormously. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥, 𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐧. 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐲 𝐧𝐨𝐰? Certainly, and it has been so from day one. Employees here are treated as people and not as numbers like at large multinationals. In addition, fortunately I have the same sense of humor as this jolly duo. That also helps of course (𝘭𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘴) 😂 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐊𝐕𝐌𝐒? Jasper and I knew each other before I started at KVMS. We were members of the same local club. One day he called me to ask if I wanted to stop by. He wanted to tell me a little more about KVMS and what he was looking for. 𝘈 𝘧𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘥𝘰𝘵𝘦: after this conversation, I went home with as much knowledge as I started the conversation with. So switching to KVMS was really a leap of faith for me, but it intuitively felt like the right choice from the beginning. And I'm still very happy about that! 😁 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤? When I am not enjoying quality time with my girlfriend and my infant son, you can sometimes see me tinkering with vintage cars (see photo). 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐮𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭? Please don't! 😴 At night, my batteries are recharged. Thanks for the chat, Jan! We wish you all the best luck in the future 🚀

Mr. Mike: Hey Favour, how have been? Me: I've been very well. How's your wife? Him: She's fine o. She sends her regards. 😊 Me: Awwn, help me thank her. Him: I see that you're now really good with LinkedIn and you're even teaching people! Me: Yes Sir. God has been helping immensely. Him: Very true. All Glory to His Name! Me: Amen! Him: I noticed you hardly have time to make or take calls. Is there any problem? Or is it because of your work? Me: Hmm, Sir I'll be honest with you. I hardly have enough time to add unexpected activities to my schedule. Him: I understand. But hope all is well? Me: Yes Sir. No problem at all. Him: Alright, I'll like you to adjust your schedule a little. Yes, because I've just restructured my company and hired some new staff, and I'll need them to become active on LinkedIn and likewise promote our company through their various accounts. Is this part of your services? Me: Yes Sir, it is. When are you open to have me carry out the training? Him: In November, on the 29th & 30th, by 3pm. Do you have any bookings for those days? Me: No Sir. I'm available on those days. Him: Oh excellent! I'm really glad to finally be working with you, Favour. I know my staff will not only learn the dynamics of LinkedIn, but they'll also operate with your kind of energy and Passion for LinkedIn. Me: Oh, thank you for the kind words Sir. Him: Alright, please forward your fee and details to Kela, my P.A and she'll revert immediately we've made payment and booked your flight and hotel room. Will you need any other thing from us? Me: Aside all you've mentioned Sir, I won't need anything. From my end, I'll put together a document that will cover our contract details and signatures, and also the outline for the Sessions. I'll send this across immediately I receive word from Kela. Does this work for you Sir? Him: Absolutely! Looking forward to it. Once again, thank you! In the dynamic field of support coordination, the phrase "I don't have time" is all too common. Time is a precious resource, and it's a passion of mine to ensure that our clients don't have to wait. Within SIRV, I also have the ability to provide core supports while assisting you in connecting to others, ensuring our clients receive top-notch care from all angles. What I ❤️ about #RPMCareers: 1️⃣ The amazing people and friendships! 💪 IYKYK - working onsite is something you just have to experience to understand. It requires thick skin, it requires empathy, and it requires customer service skills (yes, customer service is a SKILL). But I met some of my favorite people in the world onsite! 2️⃣ The awards and recognition! 🏆 The company awards, association awards, NAA awards...the list goes on. Many of my favorite memories are from awards events - cheering my teams on, helping to hand out awards, and even getting a few myself! It's a challenging and chaotic industry and having those moments of bringing everyone together in celebration and recognizing team members for their invaluable contributions is essential. 3️⃣ The opportunity for growth 📈 Whether from a leasing agent to a property manager, onsite to corporate, small company to large company, or even operator to supplier - there is so much opportunity for (fast) growth! And while I am now on the supplier side (another great growth opportunity in this industry btw) with SatisFacts & ApartmentRatings, we're all in this together and I don't consider myself any less of an #RPM professional than I was when I started as a leasing agent 15 years ago. 📷 Below: 1. My first marketing award 2. My first tradeshow 3. Some of my team from a very challenging takeover community. But we all supported each other like family. #rpmcareersweek #multifamily

#bossladyuk It's rare for me to show such a stressful image of myself at work. This was taken at 3pm today. A face of stress anxiety but on the inside strength in determination. See, my work is different every day in that a different client is worked for appointments. Each of my clients wait patiently as there turn comes around for me to partner with them in delivering their site visits. They know I guarantee and deliver and by close of play they shall receive. What's the purpose of this post?... Today, I spent almost 6 hours ringing pitching seeking and trying to look for new work. My client had no appointments at 2.15pm he must have thought I'd chinned it off for the day and took my crocs to the beach for a walk 🙈 This line of work takes time patience and belief. The strategies are planned meticulously to ensure the plans work accordingly and how they need to in offering results at the end. I was becoming hungry and tired today, skipping lunch and avoiding putting the kettle on to make coffee, not taking my eyes of the screen for hours. The pressure was intense but I kept on going. I never thought for a second I would not deliver today. Even if I was still to be working away at 7pm, then so be it. Even if it took until the day after - tomorrow's client would need to wait a day until today's client is filled and all my clients know this. After just over 6 hours of non stop gruelling pitching through so many taking time off for an extended Easter play time, it was becoming tighter by the minute, no decision makers to be seen in the area I was working, if I'm honest I found it ridiculous at one point how so many had jumped their ship. Pre covid this was never seen! Finally, at approx 3pm my first appointment came on and within 30 minutes the 2nd. My client was filled with 2 excellent commercial cleaning meetings scheduled for next week. I am rare, I am blessed 🙌 😇 🙏 And those who fall into my pathway are also ment to take this journey and everything that goes with it. I am here to lead and that will never change. As one prospect said to me today, "I know it's a hard job trying to get business and stuff" That all depends how you look at, nothing in life comes easy and it's the way we manage it that counts. I'm good with today, it's made me feel very accomplished and to know that after decades in this industry I've still got the right amount of stamina and determination. Job Done, once again. Keeping it real.

Top 10 HR Professionals | RECRUITER | Trainer | Founder | LinkedIn Top Voice on Training, Presentation skills | Leader
In an organization I worked before, there was a competency called professionalism, it measured going above the requirements of the job. It had different levels of measurement. 5 being the highest and 1 being the lowest. I know my former colleagues in FCDO and BC are smiling reading this. Jobs have basic requirements and skillsets expected of the job holder. If you just meet those requirements, you might not grow beyond that level. Some are happy to stay at that level. Those intending to grow, go above the minimum requirements and put in extra. They get noticed and get promoted when there is space to rise. They all so become successful more easily. There is also a word called likeable. When people like you, it makes doors open for you. Some are naturally liked and some have to do extra to be liked. As you grow in life, you must learn to wear different jackets for different occasions. Saying “this is who I am” is good when you own the company but not great when you work for people. Why am I writing this. My Yoruba Uber driver was sullen. Didn’t smile and did not go out of his way to make the ride comfortable for me or a pleasant experience. Someone said he was not obligated to laugh, to assist or be pleasant. Perhaps. Another time I came to London a Yoruba driver picked me. We exchanged pleasantries and found out we had mutual friends. I used him for 6 days after and was generous with my tips. I refer him to anyone in London needing a cab. Like I do anyone that gives me a pleasant experience. Mr Sullen did not get a tip. He also missed out on “Royal” blessings. I am almost certain he has that attitude most of the time. I am not sure how far he will grow with that attitude. Always when possible, deliver more than expected if you are in the service industry. I mean all services. Leave people with a pleasant experience and something to remember you by. Ademola .H. Adigun

⏰ 12 minute exercise to see if your team is on the same page about the thing we should all be on the same page about – the job(s) you’re helping your customer’s get done. 0-5 minutes: 👉 Everyone takes their best punt at answering “What job do we help customers get done?” 👉 One job per sticky 👉 Quantity over quality 👉 A job starts a verb e.g. “Book plane tickets” 👉 Exclude adjectives 👉 Don’t worry whether it’s a task or goal or whatever. Just get it out of your head. 5-10 minutes: 👉 De-duplicate and group similar jobs 👉 Organise by altitude. Higher order “why do they do this” jobs at the top, lower order “how do they do this” at the bottom 10-12 minutes: 👉 Work out where feels most exciting to innovate. Low level jobs might seem a bit meh, high level jobs might seem a spot intimidating. If you have more time: Have a chat and see how aligned y’all are on this. If you have even more time: Spin up a research project to test your assumptions about what jobs your customers are actually trying to get done 🤪 Here’s a template to get you started. Or just get out a good old fashioned bit of paper and some post-it notes. https://lnkd.in/dEjdhzZP Lemme know what you think of this wee exercise. -------- If your team need help getting your team aligned around customers, Korero can help you! Say hi in a DM.

So I thought Paula offered 1 to 1s for under £300. What's with this VIP Day offer for over £2k? Lets' dissect this. Yes you can access my support for under £300. In fact you can even access downloads for under £20! But here's the thing.......... In life there's 'do it yourself' options, bite size options and standard options. However, you will always find high value options with a more premium price tag. All of my support will give you a quality experience. However, I know how to create a fabulous in person experience and my VIP Day is designed to do just that. It is also designed to create fast results. It cannot be compared to a download and it cannot be compared to a one off 90min online session. You have 1 to 1 access to my expertise prior, during and after the VIP Day; with the VIP Day itself being a a 5*in person experience. So you can still reach out for any of my lower price offers, but please be assured, the Visibility & Confidence VIP Day is in a class of it's own. Want to know more? Drop me a DM
