Had a thought-provoking chat about leadership with friends over coffee yesterday. After a passionate rant on what leadership isn't, a young member of our group, around 25 years old, asked me directly: "What do you think a good leader is?" Caught off guard, I found myself leaning into a philosophy we hold dear at home: "Love lives here." It's not just a slogan; it's a way of life. We strive to "Live IN love," acknowledging that we don't always get it right but commit to doing our best. In the business world, we often shy away from the word "love." The traditional model emphasizes winning, hitting targets, and KPIs. But maybe it's time, in 2024, to ponder how we can "Lead With Love." Love for the work, the team, and the camaraderie fosters authenticity, empathy, and transparency. It transforms a group into a true team, where we support, credit, and work harder for each other. Leading in love results in a collective that not only achieves goals but surpasses them. Love has a place in the office, fostering a positive, supportive, and genuinely productive work environment. What are your thoughts on leading with love in the professional realm? Let's share our insights! 🌈💼 #Empatheticleadership #WorkplaceCulture #LeadWithLove
