As I've started my first full-time job as a recent grad, I've had a mind-blowing realization: This is one of the first endeavors I have started in a long time that doesn't have a set end date. High school ends, college is four years, graduate degrees are a few years, and internships are just for a couple of months. But on the first day of a new job, you don't know when your last day will be. For some people, that might be terrifying. For me, I couldn't be more excited!! What makes the difference? I think it's culture. Creating an environment where employees are recognized and encouraged in their work keeps people excited and engaged. Since I've joined Nectar, I've shown up every day thinking about what I can build and how I can grow instead of focusing on the finish line. At Nectar, we help companies create a culture that people won't want to leave. Focus on creating a culture where people feel recognized, appreciated, and empowered, and you'll definitely feel the difference! ☀

Business & Management Student | People Leader | Transformational Management | Trilingual | Seeking Opportunities in the Industry | Let’s Connect!
This past week in our class, we shared a beautiful movie called "The Intern." It was definitely a movie whose essence was diversity in the workplace, and so far it has taught me, with its different examples, how important it is to have a team within a culture that allows for growth. To that end, I have highlighted 3 important benefits of diversity in the workforce: -Enhanced Innovation and Creativity: Teams with diverse backgrounds, ages, and experiences bring a richer pool of ideas to the table. The movie highlights how Ben sparks creativity among Jules' young team, while he too learns new approaches to business, such as leveraging social media. -Stronger Connection with Customers: A diverse workforce better reflects the diversity within a company's customer base. This allows for better understanding of customer needs and facilitates the creation of products or services that resonate with a wider audience. The Intern subtly suggests Jules' company might better connect with older audiences after having Ben on board. -Attracting and Retaining Top Talent: Companies that prioritize diversity are perceived as progressive and inclusive, which makes them more attractive to top talent from a wider pool of job seekers. This competitive edge helps in the recruitment and retention of skilled employees. As you can see, "The Intern," while a light-hearted comedy, provides subtle but important reminders concerning age diversity in particular, and how embracing it can benefit a workplace.

I share valuable insights, challenges & stories from my 5+ years in Analytics | Healthcare Analytics @ Eli Lilly & Company | LinkedIn 2x Top Voice | A Non-Tech Grad living a dream as a Data Analyst
Excited to share - my first ever promotion! Started as Intern in ‘21 > Converted to Associate in ‘22 To now becoming an Associate Consultant in ‘24 As I celebrated my first ever promotion last weekend, I couldn't help but reflect on my journey. Most of it seems so weird and unbelievable. It's been 2+ years since I joined Eli Lilly. In December 2021, I started out as an Intern, my first major role in the corporate world. It felt so overwhelming be part of a big reputed organisation, trying to understand things and make my place In June 2022, I got hired as an Associate, my first ever full time role! I was finally finding my footing but still a lot to learn in terms of ability to contribute to my team and taking responsibilities. But since then in all this time, I've had: - Opportunities to learn & grow - Great moments of achievements - Challenges to understand where I need to improve - Some mess-ups here & there (learned important lessons) But through all, I had an amazing team and wonderful mentors who guided, motivated and cheered me all the way through to this moment. For all those who were who were there at the start and those who have been all along the way - A HUGE THANK YOU. With that I'm really excited to begin a new chapter in my career as an Associate Consultant. As I’ll start in my new role soon, curious and anxious about what lies ahead. Definitely won't be a straight upward line. And I wouldn't expect anything less than a roller coaster. Moving Forward & Upward P.S A throwback pic to my first day in office after being converted to full time back in 2022. How time flies. #newchapter #careergrowth #2024 #dataanalytics #dataanalyst

According to the successful movie, The Intern, I was able to observe many positive points about the importance of diversity in the workforce and these are some of which caught my attention the most: ✅️Enhanced Creativity and Innovation: A varied workforce, including people of all ages, genders, nationalities, and cultural backgrounds, can help to create a more dynamic and innovative workplace. Diverse teams are more likely to create innovative ideas and solutions because they draw from a greater range of experiences and perspectives. ✅️Varied Perspectives and Problem Solving: As we all know, diversity in the workplace brings together people from various backgrounds, experiences, and points of view. This diversity can lead to more creative problem-solving and imaginative thinking when team members approach difficulties from different perspectives. ✅️Better Understanding of Customer Base: We can see that "The Intern" emphasizes the significance of understanding the target market, which can be enhanced by a varied workforce. A company's ability to connect with its audience improves when its staff represents the variety of its customers. 🌟 'The Intern' vibes got me thinking! varied perspectives lead to creative problem-solving and a deeper customer connection. So, let's embrace diversity for success! 💼🌐 #DiversityMatters #Innovation #TeamStrength #theintern #workforce #innovation #Diversity
