A break clause allows either the landlord or tenant to terminate a fixed-term tenancy agreement early, under specific conditions. Here's what you need to know: ✔️ When can it be used? It can be exercised after a set period or when a specific event occurs, as outlined in the tenancy agreement. ✔️ Pre-agreement requirement: The break clause must be included in the tenancy agreement and agreed upon by both parties at the time of signing. ✔️ Why is it important? For landlords, a break clause offers flexibility if circumstances change. For tenants, it provides an option to leave without committing to the full term. If you're drafting or reviewing a tenancy agreement, ensure the break clause is clear and compliant with current regulations. 📞 Need guidance on tenancy agreements or managing your rental property? #TenancyAgreement #LandlordTips #TenantRights #PropertyManagement #RentingGuide
