The SICAP department of Laois Partnership Company is hosting two FREE information sessions on drug and alcohol misuse at our headquarters on New Road, Portlaoise, R32VY22. The first of these is on Thursday, October 10th, with a follow-up session on Thursday, October 17th, from 7pm to 8.30pm each night. This will be an invaluable support to anyone struggling with a loved one’s addiction issues, so come along to a safe environment to learn more about what help is available. €4million funding for rural development projects in Laois has been secured as part of the LEADER Local Development Strategy 2023 – 2027, which will support a wide range of sectors including farm diversification, small and medium enterprise, rural youth, heritage, town and village renewal, community facilities and amenities, renewable energy, and environmental projects.
