Do you live in an MOT desert? 🌵
Research from courier business Gophr has highlighted the UK's worst areas for MOT centres.
Let's define an "MOT desert" as a growing number of people in an urban area trying to access a diminishing pool of MOT centres.
Here are the top 4 👇
Bromley, South London
143,700 Cars - 59 MOT centres = 2,436 cars per MOT centre
Sutton, South London
85,000 Cars - 41 MOT centres = 2,073 cars per MOT centre
Leeds, West Yorkshire
435,700 cars - 253 MOT centres = 1,722 cars per MOT centre
Lerwick, Scotland
16,698 cars - 10 MOT centres = 1,670 cars per MOT centre
How does your city fair? I live in Worcester, which has 399 cars per MOT centre. Not too bad considering the UK average is 547.
