How many roles have we publicly advertised since opening Brightbox Consulting in 2019 (Linked In / Seek etc)? The honest answer is 3 - and they were all for non-profit organisations where public advertising is a mandatory part of the selection process. Why don't we advertise? Because we don't feel like we need to. We feel confident enough in our network and approach that we can shortlist candidates without advertising. Our passive candidate base is where we can really add value and these people aren't (mostly) actively applying for job roles. Candidates are regularly referred to us because of the service we provide, and the way we work. We don't want to compete with talent acquisition teams, we want to partner with them. We work hard to anticipate the needs of our clients, by truly getting to know them and what their pain points are.
