Acceptance letter in your hand? That's a HUGE win! Now, let's navigate this exciting (and maybe slightly stressful) part. First things first, celebrate! High-fives, cake with your name on it, the whole shebang - you earned it! Once the confetti settles, take a deep breath and dive back into those emails. Get a feel for each school's vibe, compare financial aid offers, and pay close attention to those deposit deadlines (May 1st is a common one, FYI). This is where the big decision comes in. Think about what matters most: the classes, the campus life, the overall cost, or maybe something unique. Talk it out with your besties, family, or guidance counselor. Ultimately, the choice is yours! YWPN Class of 2024 Achievements • 100% of the Class of 2024 graduated from high school. A quarter were the first in their families to do so. At some schools, the percentage goes up to 50%. • 100% of the Class of 2024 were accepted to 4-year colleges. 50% were the first in their families to do so. At some schools, the percentage goes over 80%. • 402 YWPN Class of 2024 seniors received $115 million in merit scholarships. At our first school in Dallas, more than a quarter received full-ride or full-tuition offers. • Fourteen seniors Network-wide received the prestigious QuestBridge full-ride scholarship, awarded to approximately 1,500 students yearly. If every state were awarded an equal share, YWPN students would have received about half of Texas’ awards.
