One thing that has helped me understand the way the heart works is from my class, Medical Anatomy. Mrs Lyman was the best teacher and showed us all the ways the heart works, from the muscle contractions to the electrical activity. It was so cool to dissect and see where everything is at. One way I can see this in my internship is the rhythms on the monitor or EKG. Different rhythms mean different things, and it's important to know the patterns to help save someone's life. #nebointerns #utahcteinternships #internships #shhsinterns
