tl;dr- I'm hiring at Sweep! job description is linked below
all my thoughts-
what's always attracted me to new career opportunities- whether it be growing internally or moving to a new company- is 1) where can I sponge up knowledge from brillaint people with more experience than me and 2) where will I feel the tangible results of my impact?
I can say without hesitation what I've experienced in the 15 months I've been at Sweep maxes out both of those aspirations in a way I haven't encountered before.
Working at an early stage company isn't for everyone. But, for those who share similar values in how they want to grow, I can't imagine a better environment.
When you manage to pull your mind out of the day-to-day weeds and reflect- the velocity of personal growth over a short period of time is astonishing. I'm sure Tess G. and Daniil Plokhikh who joined our sales team 6 months ago would agree; I've certainly seen them grow from my vantage point 💃 🕺
Join us! The ambitious people who do will see a more talented, resilient, resourceful, and knowledgable version of themselves in no time at all

Vladimir, what the heck is Market Intelligence?
After receiving several questions of this nature from my network, I feel a strong need to explain what I do. Let's dive in!
Every company wants to grow its revenue, right?
To increase a company's revenue from 0 to 1 M€, you need a very specific startup team—something I've been doing for the past five years, but that's not the current topic.
To grow a company's revenue from 1 to 10 M€, you need to solidify your processes and organization, essentially scaling your sales team.
However, using the same strategy won't allow you to grow from 10 to 100 M€.
This is where, in addition to a solid and professional sales team, we need to add market intelligence. The mission is as follows: create new business directions.
The goal of my team is to launch up to 10 new businesses within the company per year, all with as little technical development as possible.
How does it happen?
I take both successful and unsuccessful projects of the company and extract the core value propositions. Then, I build a product, position it in selected markets, and propose a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, including forecasts for turnover and margins.
If you feel like you know how to do it, reach me out we are still hiring!

I can vouch for this being different, as Shahar says.
Great culture, great product, very low friction sales cycle, because groundcover's eBPF sensor provides users almost everything they need out of the box (logs, metrics, traces, K8s events and health), with zero configuration, zero training, making it much easier to adopt. Most of our customers start with a free trial and get value without any help from us.
Does that sound like your current product you are selling? Probably not.
For those organizations that are using prometheus, OTel, Grafana etc., our platform is 100% open source friendly and we can integrate that data seamlessly.
I am looking to build a sales hub here in Minnesota, so if you are a proven new logo hunter, with a background in observability, I have one spot left for someone to join my team, and join us a couple days a week in the office, while still having the flexibility or working from home, but must be based in Minnesota.
Customers using legacy products, love the groundcover experience as it is so very different than what they are used to. Nothing like this exists in the market.

"I saw/noticed...", "My name is..." - Cold Email words that scream "SPAM!"
Instead of using those filler words, do this instead:
Think what an average rep would do and do the opposite.
Get straight to the point:
• Matt - as you're hiring 2 BDRs...
• Yurii - your CEO Matt mentioned that...
• Arthur - with a multi-national team in 3 countries…
• Margaret - in Woodpecker’s annual report expansion to DACH...
Subject line + first line of an email = the most important real estate.
Approach it strategically. What are your go-to cold email openers?
PS. Want to write Cold Emails that start WARM conversations? DM me “COLD” and let's see if we're fit to work together ($). First come, first served.
ALSO! Those are words and phrases that email security tools with behavioural AI can now recognize as spam.
So... Sales people, if you want to get a chance with a potential customer, share your ideas straight to the point.
And... potencial customers, if you want to avoid repetitive sales people, ping me and I'll share (straightforwardly) how Teneo's email security solution blocks spam emails that other tools can't even detect as such 😉
I make writing cold emails easy for entrepreneurs and sales teams 🚀 Growth @ Woodpecker | Consultant

Your start-up shouldn’t consider a full time General Counsel.
Unless it consistently hits these metrics:
1️⃣ Revenue: $100 million
- ARR for software companies
- TTM for everyone else
2️⃣ Employees: 250+
- Invest in marketing and sales to expand customer base
- Optimize operational efficiency
When you reach these metrics, you are no longer a start-up.
That’s when you consider a full time General Counsel.
Until then, here’s the business case for hiring a fractional General Counsel.
Hope this gives you something to think about.
♻️if you find useful.
