Thank you Greg Serandos from African Academy of Artificial Intelligence for sharing this with our team, there are definitely some important strategies in this and worth a read for anyone focused on improving their sales approach. I had a surprising moment at this morning's Civitas Network breakfast (at a super restaurant called Arbour Cafe in Birdhaven). Ryan Osher was talking about a sales strategy concept called 'Builders, Buyers, and Believers', whereas you need to message and meet the needs of each the three groups in order to achieve a sustainable business relationship. Builders refers to the people actually using your product, Buyers sign the check, and the Believers are your champions. In any event, I wrote the article (long forgotten) has gone viral 6 (SIX!) years on, which was news to me 😀 🤷♂️ For those who are interested.... https://lnkd.in/dFRv7u2r

Today, I tripped over a Pigeon, this is what it taught me about b2b sales. It taught me nothing, i'm not even in b2b sales, however... Have you ever tried Coconut flower beer before? Yup me neither, which is what makes this episode of 100 Days In with Keeran, the founder of Neitiv even more exciting! Obviously tempting to talk about their Dragons Den appearance, however am focussed on sticking to the first 100 days, that's the magic zone for me. What are the key lessons from the first 100 days, in Keeran’s words: Supply Chain Reinforcement: Ensuring a steady raw material supply, particularly Coconut Flower Drops, was prioritised for the core of our business. Corporate Foundations: We swiftly undertook the establishment of Neitiv by registering the company, engaging an accountancy firm, and completing VAT registration. Holistic Brand Development: Creating a distinct identity, we focused on branding elements, including logo design, website development, and e-commerce setup to establish a robust online presence. Strategic PR & Marketing: To build visibility, we invested in PR efforts, engaging a dedicated agency, and initiating our presence on social media platforms. Strategic Brewing Partnerships: Recognising the importance of market testing, we identified a reliable contract brewing and bottling company as a strategic partner before establishing our brewery.

Fractional CMO + Marketing Advisor | Helping B2B companies develop strategy, build a solid marketing foundation, and adopt AI to compete effectively and win
Hard truth Tuesday: There’s no Hogwarts Express to Quality Leadville. 🚂✨ You want leads. And you want them yesterday. Growth hacks sound tempting, just like that YouTube ad popping up after the holidays promising six-pack abs in seven days. But let's face it – that’s modern-day snake oil. 🐍 Quality leads are like fine wine; 🍷 they take time and the right conditions to mature. The truth is, it’s a long game. It begins with understanding who your ideal customers are 🎯, uncovering your differentiated value, and clearly communicating that value. Quality leads are the consequence of: 🌟Building brand awareness and demand generation activities (think educational content and thought leadership to share your unique point of view). 🤝Nurturing genuine relationships (industry events and social engagement). 🗣️Customer advocacy and word of mouth (this is becoming even more important). 🏆Having a great product or service (you won’t have fans if you aren’t solving problems and delighting customers). As they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Neither is a pipeline of quality B2B leads. #B2BMarketing #LeadGeneration #AuthenticGrowth
