It was a treat to celebrate #internationalwomensday2024 with KPMG and #inspireinclusion with the Women's Bond Club. As a bonus we also got to exchange insights on AI. My takeaways were clear: 1 Integrate AI to eliminate the soul-crushing part your job. 2 Technology won’t replace trust. 3 Humans who use AI will beat humans who don’t. Kudos to KPMG’s committed inclusion and belonging pioneers Allison Downey and John Capone for hosting and to Joanne Wyper, Hema Balasubramanian, Annelise Osborne, Kevin Bolen, and Anissa Craig for their thought leadership and fantastic storytelling.

Empowering the next generation of leaders, CNBC-TV18's 'Future. Female. Forward.' College Connect, ignited a wave of inspiration at IIT Delhi. Perhaps fuelled by the turbulence of the past few weeks, I'm both hopeful and terrified for what is to come. I'm hopeful that the open seats on this board will indeed be taken by a more diverse group of individuals, reflective of a wider perspective on AI (and the harms). I'm terrified that the open seats will just become more of an echo chamber for quick and thoughtless commercialization. I'm frustrated that regardless of how forward-looking an organization may be (in product or solution), we're still clamouring for representation. Have we not learned that representation can drive better outcomes? Have we not learned that organizations with higher levels of representation "at the top" perform better — financially? I don't want seats to be filled performatively; but, I truly hope this team takes the time to encourage and create the space for more diverse individuals to want to join this board. And, take this opportunity to make thoughtful strides forward to creating a safer AI-guided future, not just make a quick buck.

In the AI era, our humanity—empathy, connection, leadership—will matter more than technical skills. In business, teams that blend tech expertise with emotional intelligence stand out. They use AI not just for speed but to genuinely enhance value. With the increasing role of AI, building our emotional and mental resilience is vital. These must-have skills keep us ahead of machines. Last night's event by The Female Quotient and Morning Brew was fantastic for two reasons: 1) Meeting in person the people I've been collaborating with remotely was incredible cc: Meg Jones. It's rare to forge human connections these days.    2) Engaging in meaningful conversations about AI, utility, and humanity left me hopeful about the AI companies being developed in the New York ecosystem, like Mother AI.
