Lee's Summit R-7 School District’s Post

When opportunity presented itself, our National Art Honors students stepped up. 🐯 The iconic tiger head that used to be mounted on the South side of Lee's Summit High School was taken down during the building's remodel. 🐯 🎨 This year, those art students spent time restoring the statue so it can be reinstalled. The real world learning opportunity was a major undertaking but the students did an INCREDIBLE job. #R7Proud

I love this: National Arts Honors recognition for students who are passionate about the creative arts. This speaks volumes about the district.

This is wonderful! I see one of my former students rocking that renovation. 🤗 Where are you all hanging it?
