The power of creative play and sport unite… 🏃🤸🏾   Today we are excited to announce a multi-year partnership with Nike, Inc.  Together we know that creative and physical play are essential to children’s development and helping them reach their full potential. 🏆   The partnership activity kicks off next year, as we combine the imaginative power of LEGO® bricks with the “Just Do It” spirit of Nike to invite all kids into play and sport.   Find out more → https://lnkd.in/eMuucKmv   #LEGOPlay #NIKE #BehindTheBricks

My son owns a pair of Lego/ adidas with brick mimic’d outsoles. They’re the coolest. Wish they came in adult sizes. Can’t wait to see what Nike designers do.

Looking forward to the #pickleball play set! 🥒

We can’t wait to see the creative sparks fly from the collaboration between these powerhouse brands! The results are sure to be amazing!

Nice move but not sure, if from Legos POV this will turn out to be too restricted in collaborating with other sports / major sport players and brands in the future. Certainly, there will be contractual boundaries to prevent them now doing future sports related products and other, being in bed with the Swoosh. But they will most definitely also kill it, that's for sure. 🚀🚀🚀

the LEGO Group what an incredible partnership! Promoting play & movement, both such fundamental needs for kids! 🧡

In partnerships like this you wonder “who needed it more?” I think Nike. Their innovation and relevance has been eclipsed by the likes of On and HOKA, so this is a strategically smart pivot into a ‘play x performance’ posturing. And Nike can borrow the equity of a youthful (and timeless) brand that is perpetually in the cultural conversation.
