It's M&E Monday! A few tips for anyone interested in learning about M&E. For many social interventions, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) is seen as a external requirement that comes after project start or even at the end of an intervention. As an M&E professional, I'm always championing the integration of M&E during the conceptualisation phase of an intervention to practically map how to arrive at desired results noting the milestones and key requirements along the way. Well before a programme hits the ground running, it is best to have clearly defined overarching M&E System and supporting M&E infrastructure to operationalise the system. Supplier Partner Day with Focus on Safety requirements TenneT TSO GmbH: Incredible Turnout of 166 Participants 🎉 According to the current NEP 40/45 planning, TenneT alone will have to build up to 14,000 kilometres of new lines in the next 20 years. To achieve this, we need to complete 5 times more line - kilometres per year than before.  This makes it clear how much we need all our qualified construction companies in the upcoming years. What's more, we need a functioning and fair bidding competition.  But we not only need an electricity grid that we can leave to our grandchildren, we also want to build the network safely, without injuries and without fatalities.  That is why occupational safety on our costruction sites must not be allowed to disappear from the focus of project management.     Our supplier partner day with the focus on safety requirements of TenneT in the tender documents was marked by insightful discussions and constructive exchanges with our valued partners. During this online event, we introduced revised Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, alongside extending our supplier performance management initiatives. It was inspiring to witness the shared commitment to working dynamically towards the energy transition while upholding the highest #safety standards and performance benchmarks.   What's next? We`re committed to considering every suggestion and ensuring that our partners play an integral role in the journey to implementation. Yesterday there is a serious heavy transportation road incident in Senawang which some how go viral in social media even broadcast in Malaysia Bernama news. Understandably this raised concerns among our valued clients and frankly I've received numerous private messages expressing doubt and worry regarding the unfortunate event, particularly due to similarities in the equipment's color to LBL assets. They want to know if LBL play a part contribute to this road accident or if I may know which company created such ACCIDENT. All are pretty happy and relief when such incident didn't involve with LBL. LBL has practice high standards of over dimension transportation management process involve road survey, journey plan, methods of statement and operation executions. We have successfully reduce or minimise the risk of over dimensions transportation project for our customers. No people has any bad intention to create such serious accidents. Nevertheless, It's critical for all parties to urgently prioritize evidence-based HSE and operational performance before any commercial requirements. Colors alone cannot differentiate safety and the quality of service standards. Instead, it's the company's purpose, leadership, culture, core values, and the unwavering commitment of its people to uphold high safety standards that truly matter. The purpose of monitoring and evaluation is to measure and assess the performance of the Project. M&E experts must ensure the project stakeholders stay up-to-date about project progress. Nowadays, there are various models used in M&E missions particularly when the status of the implementation is scheduled to be conducted on either weekly or quarterly basis. #BANGOKITITA# has emerged as the best model to access the general information of the project more easily. The template below can be used to track the progress.

It was a pure pleasure and honor to see that a paper I co-authored with my mentors, the exceptional and seasoned Safety and Environmental professionals, Kingsley C.; Kevin Odiase ; and Onyeoziri Chijioke  was presented at the just conclude SPE NIGERIA COUNCIL, #NAICE, 2024 and has been published on www.onepetro.org This paper “Operationalizing Standardized IOGP Start Work Checks by Frontline Workers Using a Digital Solution” is aimed at providing an overview of the application of digital technology during Start Work Checks (SWC) at the worksites. Ensuring this goal remains an utmost priority requires that we keep innovating and adapting new ways of working to ensure positive progress towards this goal. Digital technology has created a robust platform and is redefining how safety protocols are managed across our worksites. Understanding that errors occur, and that most of these errors result from human behaviors driven by the systems and processes is key to delivering the goal zero aspiration. This paper is aimed at providing an overview of the application of digital technology during Start Work Checks (SWC) at the worksites. The digital SWC solution was designed to narrow the existing site risk ownership and management oversight gaps experienced on the frontline as workers carry out their daily activities. This paper focuses on the development, deployment and embedment of a digital solution intended to address the unique challenge faced by frontline workers, with a significant improvement in risk ownership, real-time data analysis, full implementation of IOGP SWC requirements, whilst removing the use of paper. This tool has positively enabled frontline workers demonstrably prevent incidents and save lives through robust verification of controls prior to start of work. The intervention culture has also improved, in addition to better quality of risk reviews by the frontline folks.

Knight Frank notes that #Johor has become Malaysia's primary data centre hub, driven by investments from multinational corporations aiming for a regional foothold, as cited by Channel News Asia and Baxtel. Currently, Johor boasts 13 operational data centres occupying 1.65 million square feet, with four more under construction. This success is credited to Johor's attractiveness to multinational firms, unlike other Malaysian regions focused on domestic demand.
