✅ Reflecting on My Summer Internship at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Taipei 💡 “I want you to have a good experience here.” Those were the very first words from my supervisor, Keli, when I joined the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Taipei. They set the tone for what would become a truly rewarding and memorable summer. So, what was it like interning at SCCT? That’s a question I’ve been asked repeatedly since returning to school. My answer is both simple and sincere: It was a transformative experience that made this summer one of the best I’ve ever had! You’ve probably heard that Swedes value #diversity and #equality. You might know that work-life balance is more than just a buzzword in Sweden, and you’ve definitely seen the word “#fika” pop up at IKEA. But it’s one thing to hear about these values and another to experience them in action. Working closely with Louise, I supported a variety of initiatives—from brainstorming new projects to refining operations and curating events that strengthened SCCT’s presence. ✨Some highlights? Co-organizing a #Midsummer Celebration, planning the #Lillördag After-Work Dinner, and conducting on-site visits and interviews with our members to better understand their unique perspectives and experiences. These opportunities provided me with valuable insights into Swedish business culture and broadened my understanding of effective community engagement. Coming from a background outside of marketing and operations, every day felt like a mini crash course—and I loved every second of it! But the real magic? The people. I made friends not just within the Chamber but across its entire network. I had the chance to see Swedish culture in action: “I like that idea!” and “Tell me more about it!” were phrases I heard often. And when we came together for fika, it wasn’t just about coffee—it was about building trust, sharing perspectives, and fostering sincere friendships. Two months might seem short, but my time at SCCT left such a lasting impression that I’ve decided to stay engaged and continue contributing as a volunteer! I’m excited to see where this journey takes me next. 💫 #SCCTaipei #SummerIntern #Sweden #Taiwan

🌟 Celebrating the Closing Event of the CEU Internship Program in Prague! 🌟 Last week we celebrated the successful conclusion of the CEU Internship Program in Prague! 🎉 This program has been an incredible growth, learning, and collaboration journey for both our interns and the CEU Management. The CEU Internship Program has provided our organization with a unique opportunity to engage with the minds of Gen Z. The interns have challenged our management to think outside the box, bringing fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a renewed energy to our workplace. For the interns, this program has been a transformative experience. They have had the chance to bridge the gap between theory and practice, putting their knowledge and skills into action. The opportunity to see their work come to life has been both rewarding and empowering. Through social learning, teamwork, and cooperation in the office, interns have developed essential soft skills vital for success in today's workplace. Moreover, the program has significantly increased the interns' confidence by taking on real responsibilities and delivering tangible results. A big thanks for your presentations: Farwa Babar, Ashwin Upadhyay, Sumit Dubey, Tanaka Musesengwe and Aneta Močková, also Petra Sochacka for leading the program. As we bid farewell to this year's CEU Internship Program in Prague, let's celebrate the achievements, friendships, and memories created. I do not doubt that the skills, experiences, and connections gained during this program will serve as a solid foundation for the interns' future endeavors. #CEUInternshipProgram #ClosingEvent #GenZ #DHLExpress

As the summer internship season kicks off, and we are welcoming our new interns at Michelman & Robinson, LLP, I'm reminded of my own transformative experience as an intern in Germany at the Frankfurt offices of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer over 20 years ago. It was my first international business experience, and little did I know then how much it would shape my personal and professional growth. To all the students embarking on internships this summer, whether close to home or far afield, I'd like to share some reflections from my journey: Embrace curiosity: Your internship is a unique opportunity to learn. Ask questions, seek out new perspectives, and absorb as much knowledge as you can. Curiosity is the fuel that propels growth and innovation. Dare to think big: Bring your best self to work each day and don't hesitate to contribute your ideas. Your fresh insights as an intern can spark meaningful change. Dream beyond the immediate tasks and envision the impact you can make. Connect with others: Your internship cohort and colleagues could become the cornerstone of your professional network. Build relationships, collaborate, and support one another. The bonds forged during this time can last a lifetime. Embrace the challenges: Growth often lies outside your comfort zone. Whether it is navigating a new environment, tackling an unfamiliar project, or communicating across differences, each challenge is a chance to develop new skills and resilience. Looking back, my internship in Germany was a pivotal stepping stone in my career journey. To all the interns of today, I wish you a summer filled with learning, growth, and exciting new horizons. Embrace this opportunity—it could be the start of something extraordinary.

Driven to transform challenges into opportunities, achieve excellence, and foster continuous growth | International business student
🏃 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐫𝐮𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞? (from an intern’s perspective) I’m in my second week of interning at European Student Placement Agency (ESPA). I want to give special thanks to the entire ESPA team for the warm welcome, freedom, and trust. I’m involved in various processes and learning every day. So far, it has been an incredibly educational experience. I’ve already gained so many new insights, and I’d like to share one with you: 🏔 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. One day, Colin Blackburn, ESPA’s director, said, “Close your computers, I’ll show you my favourite spot in Bath.” He took us to a viewpoint overlooking the city, and I must say, I agree with Colin that this is one of the most magnificent places I have ever seen. That simple gesture of kindness was something I hadn’t experienced before as "just an intern." It made me realise, "This is the kind of company I would like to work hard for!" While it's understandable that in large top 500 corporations it may not be possible to take every team member on a personal tour, yet such genuine gestures, big or small, make one feel important, truly valued, and inspire me to personally go the extra mile! 🙏 𝐀 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧, for investing his time in me, showing me Bath’s hidden gems, and demonstrating how every individual working in his company is of true value to him! 📚 𝐓𝐨 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐀 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲: my advice, "just do it!" The care, attention, and insights I’ve gained in just two weeks will stay with me throughout my career. I can’t wait for the months ahead and look forward to sharing more of what I learn on this journey! #companyculture #Motivation #Teammotivation #internship #careerinsights #workculture

Openings across Europe
Sonia Andrzejuk recently completed her internship with Triton’s Mid-Market Investment team in Frankfurt. We sat down with Sonia to discuss her takeaways as a young professional starting her career. "During my internship at Triton, I supported various opportunities in the industrial and healthcare sectors by conducting market research and preparing IC and investment preparation materials. I worked closely with the investment and sector teams to evaluate potential investments. My favourite part of the experience was the hands-on involvement and visiting an industrial fair where I met the companies we were evaluating in person. The environment at Triton was excellent - collaborative, dynamic, and supportive. The team encourages curiosity and growth, making it a great place to start a career in private equity. For future interns, I’d recommend being proactive and asking questions, as this will not only deepen your understanding but also demonstrate your enthusiasm and commitment to contributing meaningfully to the team." Are you interested in doing an internship with Triton? Don’t miss your chance to join us: https://lnkd.in/emcjqDrb Find out more about Triton here: https://lnkd.in/eTtyEy-z #BuildingBetterBusinesses
