Networking is a game-changer! As events return to full swing this year, if you're in LA, keep an eye out for our founder Nicole Bruno forging new connections. Here's a peek into her networking adventure at the Forward Female Festival! From the start, we've embraced the truth in the saying, "You're only as strong as your network." As a founder, it's easy to feel like you're in this solo, but let us burst that bubble for you - you're not alone! In reality, bringing your vision to life and building an empire requires a network of support. Just as it takes a village to raise a child, it takes driven leaders, a dedicated team, strategic partners, and a supportive community to grow a business. Since 2022, networking has been instrumental for us in: 1️⃣ Forming alliances with strategic partners to enhance our services 2️⃣ Cultivating relationships with industry peers to stay informed and connected 3️⃣ Meeting potential clients to expand our roster and scouting talent for our team So, remember, networking isn't just about making connections; it's about building a foundation for success! 💪✨ #NetworkingPower #BuildingEmpires #WomeninBusiness #Networking

This advent Wednesday, let's polish our skills with the same care we would give to a cherished ornament, channeling C.K. Prahalad. ✨ #SkillsBrightening We can see this principle put to work powerfully in the case of Eric S. Yuan (he / him / his). Eric's story aligns strongly with C.K. Prahalad's teachings about honing skills and leveraging core competencies for success. Prahalad emphasized the importance of focusing on unique strengths and creating value at the intersection of business and innovation. Yuan did precisely this with Zoom, when his persistence through visa challenges led him to create Zoom, a platform that transformed remote communication for over 750,000 companies. making it an essential platform for businesses worldwide. His persistence and vision, amid challenges, reflect Prahalad's idea that companies should build on their distinctive capabilities to create new markets and opportunities. Which personal skill will you refine today? #WisdomWednesday #PersonalDevelopment #AdventReflections

Today, we honor International Women's Day, extending our heartfelt celebration to women everywhere. Meet Petra Hultgren, our EMEA Event Marketing Manager! 🎊💐 - Tell us a bit about yourself I live in Sweden on the west coast. I have a family – my husband, and two teenage children. I also have a dog, she’s 2.5 and a real family member. I’ve been working at Kramer for more than 5 years now, in Marketing. In my free time, I like to cook, drink wine with friends, and travel. A while ago I went to Sardinia with four of my friends, and to Spain with my family. My son plays a lot of football, and we go to all of his games. - What was your college major? Media & Communication and Journalism. - What do you like the most about working at Kramer? I like the feeling of family, of a team, and teamwork. I feel that I can reach out to people and get a smile in return. I like the constant development in the company and in my role - What did you learn while working at Kramer? I learned so much. For example, I met a diverse range of cultures – I met people from Australia, Israel, and Asia, which taught me that the world is not that big. I learned about good teamwork. I’ve also grown in my marketing role and expanded my skills in planning budgets and events. - What book, TV series, or movie do you recommend? I read a lot, from feel-good to crime stories. It’s really hard because there are so many good books that I want to read! I try to read one book each week – but I only read crime novels when I’m at home, never when traveling. It’s too scary when staying alone in a hotel. - What is a motivational quote that you live by, or think of often? You can´t control the wind, but you can adjust yours sails. #Kramer #kramerAV #MeetTheKramers #IChooseKramer

About last night… WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP NETWORK & Style Stories presents NETWORKING WITH CONFIDENCE in association with Tecman. Once again Style Stories delivered a great event. I must say, it was one NOT to be missed. I booked my ticket last minute. To be honest, I went more to support my friend @xcatarina_carvalho but I am so glad that I managed to go. The speaker for the event was the amazing Denise Morris which gave us great tips on how to successfully network and create a business village or tribe to better suit our personal and business needs. I felt like, I was also networking for my son. As the event was in partnership with Technology Management Ltd. It was fantastic to see so many women within the Tec industry. I had the pleasure to speak (and exchange few giggles) with few members of the Tecman team, and realised that my son would have loved being there with me. Technology, it’s a field he wants to follow as in career, and when I told him where I have been he was actually annoyed I didn’t take him with me… Oh well… I told him: ‘I created contacts for you as you still have 3 years to go.’ 😁 Can you see the importance of networking? Not only I met fantastic people, learned important lessons, but also created links that might be useful for the future of my boy. Regardless of your reasons to go to such events, there is always a gain. Sometimes it’s all just about you. Other times, you become the bridge between people around you and their dreams, and there is nothing wrong with it. Collaboration over Competition! Also, The food and drinks were delicious as usual. But the VENUE …was SPECTACULAR!!! It was on an old church at Tettenhall. I always wondered how it looked like inside and after so many years of wondering, yesterday I had the honour of being there. Grateful @wearestylestories @teamtecman @tagnetworkmids keep up with the great work! . . . . . . #network #networking #womensupportingwomen #womeninbusiness #womenempoweringwomen #womenevents #womeninleadership #womenentrepreneurs #wolverhampton #westmidlands

20+ months since I shared my hopes and excitement as a participant & amateur panellist at the inaugaral Pass Her The Mic opening event, it's full-circle and homecoming being back on stage at our gathering hosted by the brilliant Anna Soliman to share my journey so far 💖 I talked through 5 tips that have helped me with confidence, visibility & speaking opportunities - 01/ have a Sponsor - they are the ones who will bring you into opportunities. 02/ find a Partner - being on panels/events/stages with a comforting presence really changes how you feel. 03/ know that you're Unparalleled - you have something important & worthwhile to say. Seeing women, especially women of colour, on stage has an impact on how people feel represented & seen. 04/ Nominate yourself - make your intentions and interests known. 05/ be Kind to yourself - we can really pick ourselves apart sometimes, you're amazing for sharing your voice. Together, these tips spell ⚡SPUNK. Cheeky perhaps, but I hope helped pass a bit of courage and determination on to the beautiful crowd. Learnt so much too from Patricia Malay, whom I admire deeply, Audrey Chia 🚀's electric and generous sharing on personal branding + nifty AI tools that help, and Rica Facundo, Shawn Lim, Rachel Duffell, Jasper Donat & Naomi Michael's candid take on getting in front of more opportunities. If you're looking for excellent speakers and subject-matter experts, do check out Pass Her The Mic EssenceMediacom #womenspeakers #womeninmarketing #representationmatters
