We had a blast putting together this promo for them. The scope for this project didn’t include shooting original video and sound. So we utilized stills, graphics, some animation & the right music. Piper by Pixar Animation Studios may have been released in 2016, but it continues to be one of my favorite animated short films. I even use it in my lessons on curiosity, exploration, and confidence. Why? Because these three qualities are the foundation of any successful pursuit, no matter the industry or position. > Curiosity allows us to zoom out, problem solve, and elevate a solution. > Exploration pushes us beyond the obvious and challenges us to grow. > Confidence gives us self-belief and self-worth. Musical Animation 01 This week, I plan to share my experience as a lead. The client was quite certain about what he wanted and had recorded references of himself acting. Initially, my aim was to enhance the performance by refining the poses and timing. He was onboard with that, and we continued to find the right balance while working on these shots, aiming to convey an act where both characters are admiring the grace of God.
