I ask that we work as a larger team to increase awareness establishing a critical foundation of our work, the correct spelling. When you see a post that uses the hypen or space, please use the same structure when combatting health misinformation. 1️⃣ bring attention to the correct spelling 2️⃣ use a credible resource I just sent this message last weekend and it was greeted with appreciation. You can use it too. "It’s exciting to hear about the work that you are doing with the survey to support interprofessional work. Colleagues of mine across the globe are advocating to use the term without a hyphen. I want to share this with you as your team might find it helpful as it produces reports and presentations. I hope you accept this message as constructive feedback, not critical. It is important for us to be consistent as we advance our knowledge in this area." Another option could be "Thank you for promoting interprofessional work. According to the World Health Organization (2010) and several interprofessional regional organizations, interprofessional is 1 word, no space or hypen is needed. As you continue your work in this area it is important for us to be consistent in its spelling as we advance our knowledge in this area. Congratulations and good luck in your work!"
