💰 Did you know that Idaho nonprofit organizations reported $9.71 billion in revenue on their most recent tax filings? (Source: ProPublica). This includes 7,992 501c3s making an impact on Idaho's economy. 🌤 But their value is clearly not just numbers. These important organizations work to fix some of societies most complex problems and improve the lives of countless Idahoans every. single. day. 🎁 For many Idaho nonprofits (especially small ones), #IdahoGives is one of the biggest fundraising events of the year, bringing in donations that significantly impact their annual revenue, and therefore the number of people they can serve. 🌟 Which amazing nonprofits are YOU supporting this year?(I had to narrow it down to ten 😊). ⬇ It's simple and easy to donate. I wanted to take a moment to share something deeply personal and important to me. Seven months ago, I took a leap of faith and founded a manhood development/AAU basketball called the Dream Team. It was born out of a deep-seated belief that we can make a profound impact on the next generation, especially those who need it the most. Little did I know then that the Dream Team would grow to become something bigger and more impactful than I ever imagined. Our program is free for all players because we firmly believe that every child deserves access to opportunities, regardless of their background. However, as we all know, youth sports come with financial costs. Despite facing financial challenges, we have achieved some remarkable successes. When we began, the average GPA of our players was 2.6. Today, after just seven months, it stands at an impressive 3.12. These are not just numbers; they represent the tangible difference we are making in the lives of these young individuals. I believe in the power of community and collective action. Currently our programs doesn’t have the funds to sustain this program, so we need your help. You can donate and receive popcorn. We get 50% of the proceeds or you can donate directly. https://lnkd.in/gbKKx53v CLICK HERE TO DONATE: https://lnkd.in/gtV5EnRE Click on page for link.

So many business owners could get behind a project such as this. These developments going up everywhere in Truro, but I have not heard anything about affordable housing in the mix. There are so many of our families, friends and neighbours are homeless with not enough beds. Folks don't need a great big space...only big enough for a bed, small kitchen area and a bathroom with a sink, toilet and upright shower. This would get people out of the cold and off the street for the winter. Have the Town donate some land for a project, donations of materials to build from local businesses, volunteers to come together with their skills. tools and the willingness to help...you never know, you might be helping a friend who is hitting rock bottom. Think about this...it can be done if everyone brings whatever the can to help. Don't have another cold winter watching folks sleeping on benches or behind buildings...the people of Truro are better than that.

It’s the people that matter
🏉 Supporting Our Community - Strathmore Rugby Club Project 🏉 We're delighted to share our recent community project at Strathmore Rugby Club in Forfar! As one of the club's main sponsors, we contributed £4,141.04 in kind community donation to extend the outdoor seating area. This enhancement supports weekly park runs, Andy's Man Club meetings, and monthly car boot sales, ensuring the club can thrive. Special thanks to Laird Brothers (Forfar) Limited and Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. for their invaluable contributions to this project. Their support was crucial in completing this three-day project on time. At Kilmac, we're committed to social value and community support. Proud to make a difference!

Group Marketing Director | Feather Down Group | Feather Down Farms | Boerenbed | Un Lit au Pré | WiesenBett
I don't pretend to be an expert on this, but this is one of the many reasons I love working at Feather Down Farms. As a society, we're witnessing the rise of screen addiction among our children, I know we are as a family. Recent studies have shown that prolonged exposure to screens can lead to issues like sleep disturbances, obesity, poor academic performance, and even developmental delays. 😔 Here are a few steps I have started to try and implement in our house: 📺 Set Screen Time Limits: Establish clear guidelines for screen time and stick to them. We encourage outdoor activities, reading, and imaginative play as alternatives. 🤳 Lead by Example: My children often mimic my behaviour so I am conscious of my screen time and leave my phone in other rooms of the house to remove the temptation for me to scroll or respond to messages 💻 Create Tech-Free Zones: Designated areas in our home where screens are not allowed, such as our dining table or the kids' bedrooms, to promote quality family time. 🏕️ Enjoy a Feather Down weekend often #ScreenTime #ChildHealth #DigitalWellBeing #ParentingTips #Education #HealthyHabits
In today's fast-paced digital age, it's easy for children to become glued to screens, losing touch with the wonders of the natural world. Yet, amidst the hustle and bustle of modern life, there lies a treasure trove of benefits awaiting our children - the great outdoors. 🌱 Whether you live in a busy city or quiet suburbia, the benefits of enjoying the great outdoors span beyond just fresh air and sunshine. ☀️ In our partnership blog with Go Beyond charity, we unveil the multitude of benefits for children when they head into the great outdoors. ➡ https://lnkd.in/e-jQvN_m
