This June, we’re excited to announce the continuation of our partnership with The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center, a nonprofit organization serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender population of New York City and nearby communities. Theory supports The Center’s work to empower the LGBTQ+ community through our wardrobing program, which provides interview outfits for queer jobseekers. As part of our longstanding partnership, Theory spoke to The Center’s new Dr. Carla Smith, Ed.D. and member Wesley White this Pride Month. Wesley is a graduate of The Center’s GET IT Fellowship, a training program to help participants find meaningful long-term employment. You can read the full interviews on Theory.com On June 11th, Theory invited The Center clients to our headquarters in NYC’s Meatpacking District. As an extension of our wardrobing partnership, attendees picked out Theory pieces. In addition, they received makeup tutorials from Milk Makeup before getting professional headshots.
