Can you believe it, the moment is FINALLY here! The curtain has opened on our Hand Up, Stand Up for Qld Kids Giving Day. For 24 hours ONLY, every donation to Life Ed Qld will be DOUBLED!: https://lnkd.in/gy4PqJ7u All this is only possible thanks to our generous partners. But the offer is valid only for TODAY, so we’ve got to make it count. 🎁 $25 becomes $50 🎁 $50 becomes $100 🎁 $100 becomes $200 Why is today so important? There are 30,000 reasons – because that’s the number of notifications the Department of Child Safety receives every year. And many more children are suffering abuse and neglect in silence. These kids desperately need someone to stand up for them. Today, we all have the chance to do just that. Every $30 raised will provide our essential Safe Kids, Safe Bodies program to one child, helping keep them safe from abuse. The more funds we raise, the more vulnerable children we can reach together. We’re aiming to raise an ambitious $75,000. But it will only be possible with your help! DONATE NOW to Stand Up for Qld Kids: https://lnkd.in/gy4PqJ7u SHARE THIS POST to spread the word, so we can reach our target!

🎉 Exciting Announcement! 🎉 On Wednesday, June 12th, we at Life Ed Qld will be hosting our first-ever Giving Day: Hand Up, Stand Up for Qld Kids! For 24 hours, every donation will be MATCHED thanks to our generous partners. This is a unique opportunity to double your impact and help us reach even more children across Queensland. Why is this so crucial? Every year, the Department of Child Safety receives over 30,000 notifications of child abuse and neglect. Many children are unsafe in their own homes, and the true scale of this issue is even larger. Our Safe Kids, Safe Bodies program empowers children with the knowledge to protect themselves and recognise abuse. On Giving Day, every $30 raised will fund this essential program for one child in a disadvantaged community. Here's how you can make a difference: 1. SAVE the date: Wednesday, June 12th. Remember, your donation will be matched for 24 hours only. 2. WATCH this video: Understand why your support is critical on this day. 3. SHARE this post: Please help us spread the word to others who are passionate about protecting children. Let's come together to ensure every child feels safe and supported. Your participation can transform lives, offering hope and a brighter furture to those who need it most!! 🔗 https://lnkd.in/guqah2Re Join us in making a real difference for Qld kids!

Right now – until 12pm Thursday 22 August – EthicalJobs.com.au is matching your donations to Council of Single Mothers and their Children (CSMC). When single mother families in crisis need support, they contact CSMC. Our support workers assist single mother families with expert support, advice, and information, when they need it the most. With the cost-of-living hitting even average families, the children in low income families are really missing out. Single mothers are doing all they can to protect their children, but the kids still feel the hunger and the cold – and the responsibility to try and hid expenses from their mum. CSMC provides expert specialist support, with the unique addition of having lived experience of being single mothers. They are trusted; they are experts; they are a safe place for single mothers to turn. Funds are urgently needed for emergency relief to assist single mothers to feed their children and maintain their housing. So please, if you are considering donating to a charity that supports families in need, now is the time to do it. https://lnkd.in/gbei5CG5

Your help today can save lives.
We are requesting our friends, well-wishers, and everyone who cares about children to help us in this crisis; we are out of food, and some of our 516 children are missing meals or only have porridge. We urgently need $2500 to buy posho, beans, and rice. PSM has been struggling since losing our sponsors during the COVID-19 pandemic. Although we have been promised funding from several organizations, the help may not arrive until September or October. The situation is dire, and we are fighting to survive. Your support can make a significant difference and ensure these vulnerable children do not go hungry. Please help us provide the nourishment these children desperately need. https://lnkd.in/d9cyCtXu Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Warm regards, Nkinzi Ruth Nakalema Executive Director, PSM Charity
