We've increased the overall Mineral Resource of our Kookaburra Gully Graphite Project (KGGP) by 87%, making it the second largest graphite resource on the Eyre Peninsula, confirming our strategic position in Australia’s premier graphite province. The upgrade is driven by the inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate for the Kookaburra Gully South-West Extended of 5.12Mt at 4.86% TGC (Inferred) and 0.58Mt at 7.73% TGC (Indicated) for total of 293,900 tonnes of contained graphite. The overall KGGP contained graphite has increased by 80% to 896,000 tonnes. A significant strike extent remains untested, with the potential for resource growth. A three-month drill programme will begin, with an updated KGGP Feasibility Study at higher planned throughput due in the second half of CY24. CEO Jonathon Trewartha commented: “This is an amazing result for Lincoln Minerals at our Kookaburra Gully Graphite Project, with this important upgrade coming from the South-West Extended deposit, clearly demonstrating the significant scale potential of Lincoln’s Kookaburra Gully Graphite Project. This significant MRE upgrade now positions Lincoln Minerals with the second largest known graphite resource on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula, underscoring the region’s strategic characteristics, as Australia’s premier graphite province. I am confident that the addition of this inaugural resource, when combined with the next three months drilling at our high-grade Kookaburra Gully and Koppio Deposits will deliver us a resource to support a potential 10-year life of mine at significantly higher production than the 2017 Feasibility Study, which was based on a production rate of 35Ktpa graphite concentrate, and which yielded a IRR of 33%1. The resource upgrade provides strong momentum for our plans to commence an update to the Feasibility Study expected to commence mid-2024 and is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2024.” Read the full ASX Announcement here: bit.ly/4adPGgm #ASX #ASXNews #MiningNews #graphite #LML #Lincolnminerals

We've increased the graphite resource at our Kookaburra Graphite Project on the Eyre Peninsula by 𝟭𝟭𝟰% since September 2023. The total resource is now 𝟭𝟮.𝟴𝗠𝘁 @ 𝟳.𝟲% 𝗧𝗚𝗖, totalling 973,000 tonnes of contained graphite, confirming KGP as the second largest graphite resource on the Eyre Peninsula. The Resource Upgrade will underpin an updated KGP Pre-Feasibility Study examining a 60-100ktpa graphite concentrate project, due for delivery in 2H 2024 which has started to attract interest for potential offtake and partnerships. Additional drilling is planned for 2024 to further extend known mineralisation and explore new targets. This resource upgrade positions the KGP as a significant player in the graphite market, especially amid supply impacts from recent China export restrictions, which are likely to support graphite pricing. CEO Jonathon Trewartha commented: “After joining the Company late last year, we set an ambitious target to increase our Mineral Resource Estimate at the Kookaburra Graphite Project by at least 100% and I’m pleased to say that we have now exceeded that goal. This resource upgrade at KGP cements the project’s position as the second largest known graphite resource on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula – Australia’s premier graphite province – and the team’s ability to deliver on our goal shows just how capable we are at growing and developing this strategic graphite resource and how fortunate we are to be developing a graphite project of this quality in such a compelling jurisdiction. “This updated MRE will serve as the basis for our PFS update planned for delivery later this year, which will build on the 2017 FS, but will target production at a much higher rate of 60,000 to 100,000 tonnes per year, which we believe will position KGP as a tier 1 graphite project that should garner strong interest from project partners and offtakers. “In the past six months, Lincoln has undergone a remarkable transformation. Our Kookaburra Graphite Project now stands as the second-largest graphite resource on the Eyre Peninsula. Additionally, we have identified a number of highly prospective uranium exploration targets and are excited about the potential value that could be realised from our 1.24 billion tonne Green Iron Project, which awaits a strategic partnership. The world is shifting to green energy and so is our focus, which is why we acquired the #VoiseysWest and The #Pipestone Nickel Projects. We encourage you to learn more about our Pipestone Project which is a nickel Awaruite deposit covering 40+ km2 in central Newfoundland. The benefit of nickel hosted in Awaruite is that it can be direct smelted while recovering almost all of the nickel and in turn means it negates the need for costly metallurgical steps. Awaruite is a green metal for a low carbon world. Recent studies by @FPX_Nickel $FPX and @Co2LockCorp highlight the carbon capture capabilities of Awaruite deposits as they contain brucite, (a naturally occurring carbon sequestering mineral) adding another layer of value to the Pipestone project as it has similar minerology to the #Decar Nickel Project. Visit us at www.avantemining.com to learn more about our projects. #TSXV #AVA #Mining #Exploration #Newfoundland #Canada #Nickel #Awaruite #Carboncapture Follow the link for more information on carbon capture capabilities of nickel Awaruite deposits. https://lnkd.in/gKFSDTeR
