Helping Black and Brown women shift the trajectory of their careers by strengthening their emotional intelligence and establishing executive presence.

45% of Black women say the place they most often experience racism in their lives is in the workplace. This often leads to getting passed over for promotions, experiencing microaggressions, or not getting support from mentors. This seemingly uphill battle may make you want to fade into the background, keep your head down, and focus only on your work. But that's not how you get ahead.  Instead, you need to make your voice heard. Speak up during meetings. Share your ideas. Advocate for yourself. But all of these things require emotional intelligence and executive presence.  I know those are two traits you hear about A LOT. At The Being Conference. I will demystify these terms, help you know what it means as a Black woman, and strengthen what is foundational to fully developing them, which is SELF-CONFIDENCE. This is just a tiny sample of the topics we'll be covering at The Being Conference, October 20-22 in Michigan. But this is not your average conference. You'll be sharing and networking with other Black and Brown women who face the same obstacles as you at various stages of their professional journeys. Together, we'll discuss our experiences and explore actionable ways to strengthen our resilience and overcome the roadblocks to achieve success! Black/Brown woman, it's time to get your career rolling. Reserve your spot for The Being Conference today! ➡
