Understanding #Corporate HR vs. #Plant HR In the world of Human Resources, there are two main branches: corporate HR and plant HR. These roles may seem similar, but they have distinct differences that make them unique. Corporate HR works in big companies, focusing on long-term plans and company-wide #strategies. They shape company #culture and #policies, aiming for a cohesive workforce and future success. On the other hand, plant HR deals with the day-to-day #operations of manufacturing plants. They handle local pressures, industrial relations, and immediate employee needs, often in fast-paced environments. The mindset for each role is different. Corporate HR thinks strategically and aims for big-picture goals, while plant HR needs to be practical, making quick decisions to keep things running smoothly. However, no matter the setting, both types of HR jobs have one thing in common: how they treat #people. The #experience employees have is crucial. It's not just about following rules or policies; it's about creating a positive #workplace where people feel valued and supported. Treating people well means understanding their needs and concerns, communicating effectively, and showing #empathy. It's about making sure employees have a good experience at work, whether it's through fair treatment, opportunities for #growth, or support during tough times. Comparing corporate HR with plant HR is like comparing theater artists with screen actors. Neither is better than the other. They're just different. Each has its own joys and challenges, and both play important roles in shaping the workplace. In the end, whether you're in corporate HR or plant HR, the #goal is the same: to create a workplace where people feel respected, appreciated, and motivated to do their best. By focusing on how we treat people and the experience they have, HR professionals can make a real difference in the lives of employees and the success of the organization. Copied...!!!

Companies thrive on great people, and Kedali Sweden has many shining employees. We would like to introduce you to Marina. She works at Kedali as an HR Administrator, and we've asked her about her experience so far. 😊 - When did you start working in this job, what were the reasons for joining the company at that time, and what is the most rewarding thing you have learned over the years? "I started working as an HR Administrator for Kedali in 2022. I wanted to join Kedali because the job description sounded like I would enjoy it, and I thought that I could transfer my existing skills and experience to the field of HR, which was new for me. The most rewarding thing for me was taking over the work permit process and learning the ins and outs of it, so I’m able to help my colleagues when they have questions because I know firsthand how stressful it can be." - What is the most unforgettable experience in the work process? "Getting to know my colleagues. We are currently 12 different nationalities, and everyone brings their unique perspective with them. We’ve had many interesting discussions during coffee or lunch breaks, and I’ve always walked away having learned something new." - How do you think Kedali has changed from the time you joined the company to today? "A lot. If I compare the production floor on my first day and today, the difference is night and day. More specifically in the HR department, we have improved many processes and created a good foundation for the company to grow in the future." - What advice can you give to someone who wants to join Kedali? "Kedali is still a start-up company, and that comes with its own set of challenges that I didn’t fully anticipate either when I joined. Be open to changes in routines, work tasks, and even office layout, and stay flexible in your thinking."

HR professionals: More than just rangoli makers "Oh so you are an HR, what does your work look like, making rangolis at your workplace?" All of you must have heard this joke at least once in your life at your workplace. Well, imagine how dull the workplace would look if these jokes didn't exist, especially at festivals. HR jokes are funny, no doubt in that but the professionals deal with more complex aspects of the organization. I am an HR student and through this post, I want to create a more respectable image for them. 1) Heart of any organization: Any rangoli starts with its center design and all the rest of the design is connected to it. HR is the first person that any employee interacts with before starting his/her tenure. An HR represents the Organization. 2) HR as a Coordinator: As all the petals differ from each other, they still need to coordinate with each other. The petals represent the departments where they hold their own identity but still need to intersect at some point, here the HR steps in and makes the process easy and less complicated. 3) Choosing the right set of people: All the colors of the rangoli need to complement each other. Similarly, HR is responsible for bringing in the right set of people whose core values align with those of the organization's values. 4) Employee grievances: Diyas on the top of rangoli makes it more beautiful right? similarly to keep employees satisfied at the workplace, HR comes up with various ways and tries to keep up with all the employee grievances. Lastly, I would like to say that bring on all the jokes you want, maybe we would turn that into a beautiful rangoli too. Drop down your views in the comment section (I will surely get back to you😉) PS: hatsoff to each and every HR present out there! Director @ Robinson Guest | @ Flink | Building High-Performing Teams - Staffing Advisor - Raising Consciousness
I hear "We have an internal HR team" daily. There's a BIG difference between a HR team recruiting for a role and Robinson Guest recruiting for a role. We get very different results... - HR teams do not work 7 days a week to get results. - HR teams do not do whatever it takes to fill the role ( We take full responsibility and find solutions not problems). - Recruiting for HR teams is a job. For Robinson Guest its our life style. - HR teams simply do NOT have the same level of motivation to fulfill a role. If you are serious about hiring the right people for your mission. You should speak to us. #lifestyle #serious Vlad Svitanko

Meet our HR Manager, Chris! We asked Chris about his role at Southdown, what his key focuses are, and what he has learnt in the 9 years he has been with us. 👉How long have you been at Southdown? I celebrated my 9th anniversary on the 6th of June. I started as a HR advisor, then got promoted to Senior HR Advisor, and then, in May I was promoted to HR Manager. 👉What are your key focuses in your role as HR Manager at Southdown? My key focus areas include providing the best HR service to both managers and staff that I possibly can with an eye on process improvements. I want us to be continuously looking for ways to improve services through automation, through policy development and streamlining processes. I want HR to use our values and the Southdown Beacon to develop how we work in a much more psychologically informed way so that we are supporting the business to deliver its services. I would also say another priority focus is recruitment, retention and attendance. I want to ensure that we have the right people, in the right place to deliver at the right time, engaged, well-trained and rewarded appropriately. Another priority is to also support bigger programmes/projects that are taking place within Southdown and use my expertise and knowledge to help shape and implement these. 👉After nine years at Southdown, what have you learnt over that time? When I look around over my nine years, the level of compassion I have seen, the level of focus on delivering for clients is second to none in this organisation. And I see this every time I see colleagues engaging with clients. For example, there is nothing better than to see the joy and happiness for all who attend the Xmas carol concert. Simply amazing. When I get the chance, I love to go out and about because when you do, you see the really hard and dedicated work. It's amazing to see and it's humbling actually. It's humbling to see and that's what gets me up every morning to come to work. 👉You mentioned our values earlier. What does ‘being brilliant with people’ mean to you? Listening, first and foremost. The people who do the jobs, know the job best. So I think listening is really important. I think it is about offering the best job offer that we possibly can to people, through our terms and conditions, our benefits. And remunerating and rewarding for all the hard work that everybody does. 👉Is there anything else we've not covered that you'd like to say about you and your role and how you feel about being HR Manager for Southdown? I lead a small but dedicated team of people who are all doing their absolute best to get it right and to deliver for both the organisation and all the people who work within it. They work extremely hard and I'm incredibly proud of all of them. #BrilliantWithPeople #NotForProfit #SussexJobs
