I help strategic SaaS sellers become millionaires using design & systems thinking (w/o sacrificing their well-being). Get started w/ the links in my featured section
Winning nine 7-figure deals in 19 months taught me this: When meeting with the C-Suite in person, there are 4 things they need from a SaaS seller... 1/ Respect their time - Bring the outcome upfront - Keep it brief (less really is more) - Explain the impact in under 2 minutes 2/ Speak clearly and plainly - Remove jargon and buzzwords - Use their language and terminology - Lead to your company, not with your company 3/ Connect your solution to something important to them - Do your homework - Understand their key initiatives - Show how your plan will support or speed up those initiatives 4/ Ensure everyone they’ll ask is onboard - Interview each stakeholder on the decision committee - Understand clearly where they stand before meeting the C-Suite - Summarize the broad consensus and offer to share the plan and where each executive stands on the project following the meeting Remember, the C-suite are humans too. They’re just busy working on bigger things. Do everything possible to make it easy for them to say yes. 🐝

We’re incredibly proud to announce that BlueCollar has been recognized as the Summer 2024 NetSuite Alliance Partner Spotlight Winner for NetSuite Field Service Management – General Business. Our collaboration with Superior Groundcover has shown us that even the most established industries can be revolutionized with the right technology. When we first started working with Superior Groundcover, we saw a problem: outdated processes slowing down productivity. We knew there had to be a better way. With the power of NetSuite behind us, we streamlined operations, cut through inefficiencies, and allowed their teams to do what they do best—without the friction. This award isn’t just a win for us—it’s a signal to the entire industry. Field service management doesn’t need to be stuck in the past. It can be agile, fast, and smart. The tools exist, the technology is here, and the results are undeniable. This is what happens when you refuse to accept ‘good enough.’ We’re just getting started. The future of construction is about efficiency, innovation, and speed. Together with NetSuite, we’re making sure that future arrives a little faster. Onward. 🚀 #BlueCollar #NetSuite #FieldService #ConstructionTech #Innovation

SaaS Metrics Workshop Alert! One of the main reasons PHX Ventures and other investors pass on companies is because founders don't have a handle on the math of their business. It's not so much the numbers themselves, but a founder's understanding of the math behind the numbers and why the math matters. If you want to get better at understanding your metrics, please come to this PHX FWD workshop om April 18th. It's free for PHX FWD members and membership is free. There are only a few spots left. Special thanks to the instructors, Chris Horne of Virtuous and Colleen Shannon of equipifi, two of my favorite FinOps pros. This is a small group workshop so please bring your questions for Chris and Colleen. Let's make PHX a top software city.

Making the working lives of Humans EXTRAORDINARY | Founder & Business Owner | MD | CFO | COO | Director | NED | ERP | Solution Specialist | Business Transformation | Advisory | SaaS | Cloud
To think that Larry created an organization that provides the livelihoods of some 160,000 people and their families… is really quite extraordinary - it has to be said! To think that Oracle provides solutions and services to some 430,000 customers, solving some of the worlds biggest challenges, in every industry, in every country is phenomenal… but it doesn’t stop there! Oracle has been investing billions in the “new Oracle”… allowing customers to move from legacy software to modern digital cloud environments. Including: applications, industry, database, infrastructure, etc… all with embedded AI, ML, etc… everything engineered to work together. WOW! #oracle
It was the late 1980s and my sister told me about a fairly new company out in Silicon Valley: Oracle. Larry Ellison interviewed me, and the rest is history. Over the past almost 40 years, Larry has been my boss, mentor, and friend. Couldn’t think of a more deserving person to be included in TIME’s list of most influential people of 2024. We (myself and NetSuite) wouldn’t be here today without his support. Congratulations, Larry. https://lnkd.in/gEe328YS
