We always help our clients allocate their budget effectively by breaking it into categories. This method allows clients to see where their money is going and prioritise spending. We ensure that no important aspect is overlooked, leading to more informed decisions and a smoother project execution. We allocate a portion of the budget to the construction team for labour and building work. Another significant category is fixed materials, such as tiles, joinery, kitchens, and bathrooms. Investing in high-quality materials here ensures the durability and aesthetic appeal of the home. Professional fees are also a crucial part of the budget. This includes costs for hiring experts like structural engineers and interior designers. Allocating funds for these professionals ensures that the project is structurally sound and meets all regulations, preventing costly mistakes. Lastly, we set aside a budget for loose items like furniture and decor, which bring personality and comfort to the space. We also recommend keeping a contingency fund for unexpected expenses, as unforeseen issues often arise during construction. This approach ensures that the project can continue smoothly without financial strain. Please get in touch if you would like help with your renovation. 📹Laurens Jan Koster
