Denver Micro Wedding & Elopement Photographer 📷 Colorado & beyond ✈️ Epic wedding moments for adventurous couples 🥾
As small business owners, we never go it alone. 🙌 In first grade, our class welcomed a new student and I was blessed with a new lifelong best friend, Katherine Klimitas. In the 30 years since then, Katherine has filled my life with dry humor, unforgettable memories, and well-timed truth bombs. 💣 So when I decided to trade the fluorescent lights of corporate life for a career as a creative entrepreneur, I knew Katherine wouldn't gatekeep any of her knowledge and experience gained as a water color artist and graphic designer. Katherine designed my first business cards and taught me how to use social media. She both comforted me and dropped some hard truths the first time my work was stolen. Not only has she shaped my life through decades of friendship, but she has shaped my business through education and the sharing of her skills. ❤️ I hope that all small business owners are lucky enough to find inspiration from the "Katherine" in their life. But, even more so, I hope they are lucky enough to have a friend, like Katherine, to support them through the ups and downs in their journey as entrepreneurs. Do you have a "Katherine" in your life who inspired, educated, and supported you in your journey? Give them a shout out in the comments! 📢 #smallbusiness #smallbusinessowner #entrepreneur #entrepreneurship #mentor
When I started painting 30 years ago, I couldn't get enough. Unlike soccer or baseball, art was something I could do. Heck, it didn't involve walking! So what's your something? That special gift you're meant to share with the world? Take less than a minute and watch this throwback video. Then share it with someone you know who's hiding their talents from us 😉

Author Q&A! Micheal Willis discusses his most recent D&D Adventure module, The Village of Faen. Q. What was your introduction to Dungeons & Dragons? A. I first found DND in 2001. I had been curious about the game for some time, but when the LotR movies came out, I was super eager to give it a try. I wanted to be like the characters in that story. To go on endless adventures. Q. What was your process for writing The Village of Faen? A. It was actually based on a session I ran for my friends several years ago. Not all of our friends could make it, but we still wanted to play so I threw together a quick one shot for us to run. The session went over well, so I decided to expand it out to a full adventure for everyone to try. Q. What were your sources of inspiration when creating The Village of Faen? A. There were a few key sources I drew inspiration from. The first is an old NES RPG called Dragon Quest IV. The other is The Wickerman. I wanted to tell a spooky story set in a small isolated and superstitious community. Q. Can we expect any future follow ups to The Village of Faen? A. Yes! I am currently planning two sequels! Keep an eye out for them. Q. What is your favorite DND Monster: A. I love worgs. Very unrated beasts. Large, intelligent evil wolves. I'd love to work more with them in the future. The Village of Faen is currently on sale 50%. It is the perfect adventure to celebrate Halloween with! https://lnkd.in/gAvAEeC6

Currently making the Dungeon Rules (for Dungeons & Dorks): a customization feature for those who want to challenge themselves. Players will be able to edit most of the generation values, such as dungeon dimensions, hallway prefered length, rooms, door chance, torches and props chance, monsters (amount and blacklist), chests, etc. In this video I set the values to generate a 1600 squared meters dungeon with 10% more doors and 100 Wendigos (it didn't go as bad as the last time I tried 200 Weeping angels).

If your FEATURED section has serious vibes of the least liked drawer in your home, you know the one with random pens that don‘t work, 7 rubber bands, 4 random bones from some animal your kids have dug up in the garden ☠ , 2 headless Barbie dolls, 17 Lego pieces, 1 shell from that time in France, 5 plasters (just in case), a few unwritten Christmas cards from 2020… you know… THAT drawer… 👀 Then read this 🤩 —Katie
