Over the course of October, I’ll be sharing some key info and the skills you need to help you meal prep, however many meals you want to get prepared for your week. We’re going to be delving into: 🍽️    Deciding what you’re going to commit to and how it’s going to work. – It's the actual doing it that makes the difference, so I'll be creating that accountability for you 🍽️ How to audit what you have for maximum impact. 🍽️ We’ll look at the hardware and 'tools of the trade' that will make meal planning easier. 🍽️ You’ll chose exactly when you are going to plan, shop, and get to work with the prep. 🍽️ And I’m also throwing in my printable guide – 'Where to start with Meal Planning' to help you....well, get started! 😂 We start Tues 1st October in my Facebook Group (link in comments).

How Meal Prep Became My Most Dangerous Weapon As a Busy Father As a father of two boys and with a very busy schedule, my days are indeed full. I struggled to eat properly until I learned how to prepare meals in advance. Prepping my meals in advance saves me time and makes me less anxious since I know that I will be taking the right food. It became my best weapon against being tempted to stray off course even when life becomes hectic. I know my word how meal prep is a revolutionary concept for busy fathers like us! There are a quite a number of important things I’ve come across which make all the differences. First, I go for easy, delicious, flexible recipes that are enjoyable for everyone in the family, including myself. Second, I spend a few hours on weekends to organize, buy and make meals for the coming week. This routine enables me to face the coming week without worrying much. Meal prep is about food yes, but it is also about getting back lost time. It is about being with my children and not being stuck in the kitchen every single night. It is about setting an example and teaching my boys that there are healthy habits worth building. If you’re still not convinced about meal prep, you should definitely give it a try. Here's the easiest & fastest way to meal prep if you have a busy schedule...⁣ ⁣ when you make dinner, cook a little bit extra to have for tomorrow for lunch. ⁣ ⁣ And do that every night. ⁣ ⁣ Since you're making that meal anyway, you're not doing any extra work. ⁣ ⁣ Just making an extra portion for tomorrow. ⁣ ⁣ So you have a ready-to-eat meal waiting for you during the busy workday. ⁣ ⁣ I know, it's incredibly simple and obvious...⁣ ⁣ But if you're currently going out to eat for lunch every day. (or even 3-4x a week)⁣ ⁣ You'd see your 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐤𝐲𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭,⁣ ⁣ if you just switched that to a more macro-friendly meal that you prepared...⁣ ⁣ Hope this helps. ⁣ ⁣ PS - another super easy way to meal prep, without meal prepping, is ordering from a meal prep service. Ever have those days when food choices seem like a comedy of errors? - Wake up, skip breakfast, caffeinate like your life depends on it. - 10am hits, and the only snack in sight is a sugar-filled granola bar or a bag of office chips. - Lunchtime arrives, and you're caught empty-handed, heading to the nearest food court. - By 2pm, another sugar craving hits, leading to a soda or another "healthy" granola bar. - Finally home, the last thing on your mind is cooking, so it's Doordash to the rescue! Spoiler alert: this diet won't earn you a long, healthy life. But it doesn’t have to be like this! Here are 3 tips to dodge the junk food trap: 1.) Sunday night meal prep means kissing Doordash goodbye Mon-Thur. 2.) Prep tomorrow's lunch before hitting the sack, saving you from your morning self who, let's face it, doesn’t want to make/pack lunch. 3.)
