Interesting read on the challenges of traceability in relation to regulatory requirements on deforestation. Definitely plenty of food for thought to sustainability standards and platforms and for sectors like sugarcane, where segregation is more the exception than the rule. How to make this work in fragmented supply chains where mixing of different sources is the choice for achieving efficiency and economies of scale?

📢 NEW ANALYSIS | The Accountability Framework initiative (AFi) and CDP have just published a new report on the state of corporate disclosure on #deforestation and conversion. Based on analysis of 2023 CDP Forests questionnaire disclosure data, the report contains key insights and recommendations for corporate action in commodity supply chains.
