“We quarrel, laugh, and make happy memories together." 💛 On National Siblings Day, we want to honour the bond of love, friendship, and companionship between siblings. At Kids Cancer Care, we offer Sibling Support Program which is made keeping siblings in mind. When a child is diagnosed with cancer, it not only affects them but the whole family. Parents are understandably very busy attending appointments and providing extra care for the child who is ill. Sometimes, the healthy siblings become quiet and keep to themselves. Other times, they try to find connections in challenging ways. Through our program siblings will be able to learn about cancer, so the whole experience can become a bit less scary. The program also gives them a way to express their feelings and explore them with someone close to them (if they choose), as well as tools to understand what they are feeling and what to do about it. In less then 8 weeks Alpe d’HuZes will take place. Only through research can we improve our chances in the fight against cancer. For me, like for many, the fight against cancer is a very personal one. Running in the nature is my biggest therapy to deal with my emotions about it. But I have invented and commercialized a FANTASTIC step-by-step decision-making product for people to get their RENTS PROPERLY EVALUATED. We have carefully priced our product. We have a proven track record. But if people want to keep going bankrupt one can't bring the horse to water and MAKE THEM DRINK! If we can't get support from Australian Retailers Association (ARA), National Retail Association, The Pharmacy Guild of Australia etc. etc. WE CAN'T HELP YOUR MEMBERS! Our SaaS is Published Internationally presented Internationally on same platform as IVSC (International Valuation Standards Council) Valuation Standards Representative how will this country ever get ahead. I have just written an article (not in form and format to be published as a formal paper yet) on Australian Residential Housing. Random Thursday thoughts: Do I want to find a cure for cancer? Yes, of course I do. I'm so grateful for the medical team helping my daughter heal from her brain cancer. But do you know what I also REALLY want? I want to know WHY everyone I know is getting cancer. Why don't we tend to the root cause, not just the treatment? What are we exposed to that is causing 1:2 women and 1:3 men and 14,910 children to get this life-altering/life-threatening disease? We don't need to just FIGHT cancer, we need to IDENTIFY AND ELMINIATE the causes of cancer! The same is true in my life's work--why do we spend so much time, money and resources seeking "treatment" for youth in foster care and building supports for their transition to "Independent Living"? What if we spent those resources to keep families safely together--to obsolete the need to separate children from their families? What a world we could create--that's the future I'm dedicating myself to building!
