My Dear Connections, A few days ago I shared the Hydrogen color chart. Of course, this was a subject open to discussion and development. Mr. Rob Vasbinder from www.nettenergy.com talked about Orange Hydrogen technologies. Orange Hydrogen in summary; Hydrogen produced from biomass using PyroGasifier and Syn2H technology. It not only provides an alternative route for hydrogen production, but also stores CO2 through the co-production of biochar. Green Hydrogen produced using solar/wind combined with electrolyzers only prevents fossil CO2 from entering the atmosphere but has no solution for reducing CO2 in the atmosphere. Therefore, the term “Green” does not fully encompass Orange Hydrogen. Since Orange Hydrogen technology is 100% of Dutch origin, its developer, www.nettenergy.com, preferred the term "Orange". The company states that it will also use this term for electricity production. Thank you to Mr. Vasbinder for the information and contribution. 💹🔓🔓Unlocking Hydrogen Trade... with Ammonia🔓🔓💹 McKinsey’s Hydrogen Outlook report offers a comprehensive outlook on how this versatile element could play a pivotal role in decarbonizing our energy systems. The report maps out the journey to establishing a global hydrogen economy by 2050. Clean hydrogen demand is projected to increase to 125-585 Mtpa (73-100% of total hydrogen demand) by 2050. One key highlight is the emergence of a potential global hydrogen #trade. The report posits that Europe and Asia would be favorable markets for #importing hydrogen. While shipping hydrogen presents challenges, converting it into synfuels like #ammonia, which can then be reconverted back to hydrogen at the point of use, is a solution for unlocking the hydrogen economy. Syzygy’s ammonia e-cracking platform unlocks hydrogen’s potential while simplifying its transportation. Our technology can be integrated into #terminals and #dispensing points.
