𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 This week, Harriet Shone and Peter Lord play a game of spot-the-difference between Michael Gove and Angela Rayner. The differences are obvious but the similarities (in housing policy at least) are enlightening; while the politics change with the seasons, the issues themselves are perennial. Read on for our take on whether Rayner's highly-personal approach to policy-making has come from the Gove playbook ➡️ https://lnkd.in/ecCm-uDy

I love this intro column from Phil Morris, our new @StarTribune Opinion Editor. This explanation he offers of his approach is great: "I appreciate unconventional thinking; I don’t lean into dogma; I don’t easily check boxes; what you see is not always what you get; I don’t shy away from the intersection of contentious and thoughtful intellectual exchange when it is kept civil; I believe iron sharpens iron, and I believe the best way to understand a community is to be fully vested in a community." Common Sense/Problem-Solving Leader | C.O.O. That Led Mutli-million Dollar Brands Podcaster | Small Business Owner | Local Economies Champion | Public Speaker | Small Business Coach & Consultant | Author |
Greed for the future, what's next, what can be interrupted to make more money, or what can get the most views has surplanted looking to history to ensure red flags of the past are not missed in today's world. Tucker has had some great guests speaking the truth...he also has had guests denying or wilfully ignoring the truth and this happens to be one. I was in shock when I heard Mr. Cooper talk about how the Nazis were unprepared for the number of prisoners of war and so they put them in camps. It is vital that we don't let the history of WWII or any other genocide be corrupted like this. The ghettos and camps were built to execute "the final solution" against Jews, and other minority groups including LGBT community. When you start to let history be watered down or say...I'm too busy to deal with this or it doesn't affect me cause I know the truth, you are allowing individuals like Mr. Cooper to be a leading voice to a new generation of leaders. And that is what terrifies me, I hope that when I am 75 I'm not seeing a bunch of business and political leaders that either say "history doesn't matter, it's just a matter of opinion" or worse "well it wasn't really Hitler's fault". I happen to love reading history books like Mr. Cooper says he does and my collection especially of WWII is overflowing, and I have never once thought hmm.. maybe this was Wiston Churchills fault. I highly encourage you to read at least 15 minutes a day and specifically about history, it will motivate you to not let things like this pass you by. The answer to bad speech is more speech. As leaders we should stop thinking about the next dollar and more about the future we are shaping by speaking or not speaking.
Tucker Carlson’s interview with pseudo-historian Darryl Cooper, who has said Winston Churchill was “the chief villain of the Second World War” has garnered some 26 million views on X. Sohrab Ahmari warns that Cooper's odious views could soon be mainstream. https://thefp.pub/3ALzQMr

What needs to happen or exist for people to show up for work with passion and commitment, not because they have to, but because they want to? This is the critical question we must address to reverse the troubling trend of worker disengagement and amplify our positive impact on society and the environment. Love to read your suggestions!

Gary L. Gregg II is our first of three reviews on "The Roots of American Order" by the Center's name sake, Russell Kirk. Gregg pinpoints chapter IX of the book for a concise view into Kirk's perspective on the moral order he believes supports America's political order. "Kirk’s culminating observation should cause us great pause here as America advances through this post-modern period. If our Constitution worked at the founding because it accorded with the social realities of the 18th century, can we hope that it will still function in the 21st century?" If you triangulate Buckley v Vidal with Buckley v Baldwin and Rep. Paul Gosar of the January 6 majority. you will distill the essence of the John Birch Societ activists who hijacked Barry Goldwater's Conservative brand as a trojan hours in the Nazification of the GOP., Buckley's rebuttal at the Cambridge Union is a pillar of white supremacy and Christian Nationalism, The absolute bedrock principle of the House Freedom Causus is Buckley's rebuttal, James Baldwin is why white supremacist hate Critical Race Theory, You need to make the connection between Buckley's rebuttal and Bull Conner, This iw who the John Birch Society was all over America, Ozzie and Harriet. Leave it to Beaver, "The Graduate" is when tThe Bev grows up and doesn't want to live that way anyomre and agrees with James Baldwin, Buckley saw his role as presenting Fascis as urbane and charming and a reasonable alternative to the neo-liberalism of Eisenhower's 1956 Presidential Platform, which produced Apollo 11. But this wasn't just a fair and open debate in the market place of ideas: this was the tip of the iceberg of the deep state insurgency of the John Birch Society which became the Plumbers of the Nixon White House and the Movement Conservatives of Reaganomics and January 6, Critical Race Theory is anchored squarely on Baldwin's proposition: Buckley's rebuttal demonstratd that the racism exists and history since then has displayed how Buckley's class had benefited from exactly the inequity Jefferson Davis's State's rights theory of property, labor and the means of production, The object of the exercise is to fix the damage that has been done and eliminating the source of the dysfunction. The Harvard MBA business model is based on Buckley's white supremacist economics, as described in George Gilder's Wealth and Poverty, All this inflation. presently, is being generated artifically by the business interests associated with elon Musk and the anti-DEi Fortune 5000 CEOs committed to the Powell memo and their executive compensation, and support Trump's election,
