MeVis has a long history in LDLT—many of the top LDLT (Living Donor Liver Transplant)Centers in the US use our MeVis Distant Services to perform their ,LDLT Surgical planning, what you may not know is : It’s not just for LDLT— it can offer Oncologic Resection Planning/Kidney Transplant planning/Pancreas Planning/Duodenum Planning The same Software we use for planning is FDA approved in US and available to Transplant Centers Adding MeVis Liver Suite to MeVis Distant Services allows transmission of annomymized data between SW and MDS, it also allows for adjustment of cut plane and recalculation of volumes- it can be used in Tumor Board/Liver Board/Patient Interaction. It functions fully with 3D Goggles ( Meta for example ) allowing surgeons to actually look inside the vascular/billary structures. MeVis Liver Suite and MeVis Distant Services combined, offer an unparalleled data set that can reduce OR Time/improve patient outcomes/increase collaboration across multiple disciplines as well as offering Radiologists/Oncologists/Surgeons an option to re-evaluate high risk patients or patients that may seem to complex for surgery/donation with traditional imaging. Want to see it? Want to test it?
Have you heard of MeVis Liver Suite? Living liver donation and complex liver surgery require thorough surgery planning. The evaluation of the patient individual anatomy, liver vascular anatomy, and the volumes of liver and vascular territories is essential. MeVis Liver Suite is a dedicated image analysis software intended to be used for the visualization of hepatic imaging studies derived from CT and MRI scanning devices. In the field of tumor resection, liver donation, and case follow-up, MeVis Liver Suite provides additional information on complex anatomical and pathological structures and helps surgeons and radiologists to facilitate their workflow and enhance their liver surgery planning. MeVis Liver Suite is used in daily practice and is CE marked and FDA cleared. Robotic surgery is perfect for minimally invasive procedures that are performed through small incisions that do not leave any major scars. In some cases, robotic surgery can also be an alternative to open surgeries, which would require a larger incision and much longer recovery. Although traditional laparoscopy is also an effective surgical method, robotic surgical technology allows surgeons to have better control and precision. This technology can be used for performing hernia repair, gallbladder removal, anti-reflux surgery, colorectal surgery, and bariatric surgery. #DFWBariatrics #HealthierFuture #TransformativeJourney #SurgicalSolutions #HealthyChoices #JourneyTogether

Explore the latest findings on the effectiveness of minimally invasive surgery (MIS) for ileal neuroendocrine tumors. In this retrospective study, Yogo et al. demonstrate that MIS offers comparable short- and long-term oncological outcomes to open surgery, making it a viable alternative for many patients. The study also identifies cases, such as those with bulky mesenteric masses or concurrent liver resection, where open surgery may be more appropriate. 🔗 Read the full article: https://ow.ly/Oyy950SUSFm #SurgicalOncology #SSO #CancerResearch #FeaturedArticle
