I schedule “Nature Time” into my daily calendar. For me, that could be a slow walk first thing in the morning or laying in the grass gazing at the sky for an hour, mid-afternoon. My favorite “Nature Time” is when I’m able to sit at the beach and listen to the ocean. This appointment is as important to me as my client meetings because it makes me feel good, gives me perspective and keeps me grounded. (It also has several positive health impacts.) 🔔 Rest Can Save Your Business (and Your Health) During the first two years of my entrepreneurial journey, I worked tirelessly without counting my hours and came close to burnout. It was a wake-up call. So, I slowed down and realized that planning my work schedule is crucial, but it is equally vital to set a rest schedule that suits my physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Exhaustion is the entrepreneur's worst enemy. Your mind becomes foggy, your decisions shaky. To avoid this, here's my plan: ✅ Completely disconnect at least once a week. ✅ Engage in an activity that truly makes you feel good. ✅ Prioritize your sleep. It's non-negotiable.
