Name Game Gone Wrong? What to Avoid When Naming Your Brand👇🏾 1️⃣ Avoid Trends: Avoid using slang or trendy terms that might not age well. Trends fade. Go for a timeless name that will stay relevant. Think long-term! 2️⃣ Steer Clear of Jargon: Complicated or industry-specific terms can confuse your audience. Keep it simple and easy to remember. 3️⃣ Don't Be Vague: A name that's too generic or ambiguous won't tell people what you're about. Ensure your name stands out and isn't too similar to competitors. You want to be memorable, not mistaken. 4️⃣ Skip Complex Spellings: Hard-to-spell names are hard to remember and find online. If people struggle to say your brand name, they might avoid talking about it altogether. 5️⃣ Forget About Imitation: Be original. Copying another brand’s name can lead to legal trouble and confusion. 6️⃣ Negative Connotations: Double-check that your name doesn't have unintended meanings in different languages or cultures. 7️⃣ Ignoring Domain Availability: Make sure the domain name is available. Your online presence is crucial! What’s your biggest challenge when it comes to naming your brand? Let’s discuss and help each other out. There’s so much focus on creating an authentic personal branding image ONLINE, that I worry people forget what true authenticity actually looks like. It's easy to curate a polished, authentic image behind a screen, but that image means nothing if it doesn’t carry through into every other interaction. Think about it. People might forget a single social media post, but they’ll remember: > Your tone in an email > How long it took for you to respond > How you greeted them, or whether you remembered them, at an event. True authenticity goes beyond a carefully crafted online presence. It needs to translate into: > Your emails, even the quick ones. > Your face-to-face conversations, even in passing. > How you make people feel in those small, in-between moments. Because if your authenticity stops at your LinkedIn posts, guess what? It’s not authenticity at all. Your brand is not just your posts - it’s every interaction.

"Be authentic in your personal brand." We hear it all the time, but what does it actually mean? Authenticity isn’t something you can force. It’s not a box to check or a quick fix. Here’s the truth: → Authenticity begins with self-awareness. → It’s about knowing your values and story. → It’s aligning your actions with your truth. But let’s be honest, it’s not easy. Most of us struggle to figure out who we are in a world that constantly tells us who to be. Here’s how you start: → Reflect on your values. What drives you? → Own your story—the successes and struggles. → Ask: How do I want people to feel about me? When your brand is rooted in truth, it connects deeply. That’s when people don’t just notice—you become unforgettable. If you’re ready to align your brand with your story, let’s work together. ✉️ DM me, Benedicto Cernal III Let’s bring your authentic brand to life.

Does your brand voice feel like a warm hug or a chilly handshake? Aim for the hug. Handshakes are polite but rarely leave a lasting impression. Your brand voice should create connection—like a warm, memorable conversation with a trusted friend. 👉Fill in this template quickly. Don't over-think it! The goal is to sound like you're talking to someone over coffee: Hi. I’m [your name], and I can help you [what you do]. Example: "Hi. I’m Kim, and I can help you polish your brand voice so people SEE what makes you the best." 🤪If you struggled to create that one simple sentence, don't beat yourself up about it. Being REAL online can be challenging. But it's worth it! Because when people feel that spark of authenticity, they’re more likely to engage, remember you, and trust what you have to offer. #BrandVoice #ProfessionalBranding #SuccessTips

One of the most powerful tools in building your personal brand is authenticity. It's not about creating a persona to impress others, but rather embracing who you truly are. Here are some key points to consider: - Authenticity is magnetic - People are drawn to genuine individuals who are true to themselves. - Consistency is key - Stay true to your values, beliefs, and principles in every aspect of your life. - Transparency builds trust - Be open and honest in your communication, and let your audience see the real you. - Embrace your uniqueness - What sets you apart is what makes you memorable. Celebrate your quirks and differences. In a world where image is often prioritized over substance, authenticity stands out and leaves a lasting impression. If you're looking to elevate your personal brand and connect with your audience on a deeper level, consider the power of being authentic. Interested in taking your personal brand to the next level? When words stop making sense if you say them too much. That's semantic satiation. The simple act of saying the same thing over and over again causes a word or phrase to temporarily lose meaning for the listener, who then perceives it as repeated meaningless sounds. Meaningless sounds. 😶 No one wants that for their brand. If you need help expressing your brand in ways that you've never considered before, let's confabulate. ———————————————————————————— ☀ The Good Stuff Group ☀ is a brand consultancy here for good people, doing good work, for good reasons.
