When touring Ireland with The Dead Rabbit team in 2017, we visited over 100 Irish pubs, covering 5,000 miles and 29 Counties. And while each pub had its own story and style, they all had one thing in common - their commitment to a good welcome, and hospitable inclusivity, often saying ‘As long as you pay for your drinks and you’re nice to people, I don’t care who you are.’ That sentiment inspired the wording for The Dead Rabbit credo. This ‘Notice to Patrons’ is the first thing a guest sees when they walk through the doors at this multi-award-winning, world-acclaimed pub, so it’s important. A statement of intent, we wrote this to feel welcoming, inclusive, and perhaps most importantly - Irish.
