Eden Spottedbear, originally from Claremore, OK, moved to Denver in July 2019. As a single mom, she struggled to find work due to a lack of experience, leaving her feeling defeated. Everything changed when she discovered The Master's Apprentice Program, a Lowe’s Foundation #GableGrant recipient. "I get a sign every day that this is where I'm supposed to be," Eden says. She graduated from the carpentry program, gaining the skills and confidence she needed. "I can officially get a job now – I’m not so closed off anymore." Through the program, Eden built a community of supportive coaches and friends. "To have so many job offers now is such a blessing. I’ve worked so hard to get here, facing so many challenges, but it didn’t stop me." Today, Eden is a Cabinet and Furniture Restoration Technician at Furniture Medic. Her journey, from feeling overlooked to thriving in a career she loves, shows the impact of The Master's Apprentice. Watch Eden's full story here: https://lnkd.in/ePUFPpCT
Congrats! I didn’t realize Lowe’s was a part of the Masters Apprentice program when Eden and I went through it?
It's an honor to be changing lives with Lowe's Foundation right by our side!
