A Comprehensive guide about Starknet Starknet is a decentralized Layer 2 (L2) scaling solution for Ethereum that uses zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) to achieve massive scalability and low transaction fees. It is a permissionless, open-source protocol that allows anyone to build and deploy decentralized applications (DApps) with Ethereum-level security. Starknet works by bundling thousands of transactions off-chain and generating a ZK proof that proves the validity of the bundle. This proof is then submitted to the Ethereum mainnet, which verifies it and updates the state accordingly. This process allows Starknet to achieve significantly higher throughput and lower fees than Ethereum. Starknet is still under development, but it has already attracted a lot of attention from developers and users. It is currently in the Alpha phase, with a Mainnet launch expected in Q4 2022. Here are some of the key features of Starknet: Scalability: Starknet can process thousands of transactions per second, which is significantly more than Ethereum. Low fees: Starknet transaction fees are very low, even for complex transactions. Security: Starknet inherits Ethereum's security, as it uses ZKPs to prove the validity of transactions off-chain. Permissionless: Anyone can build and deploy DApps on Starknet. Today, we're proud to share a new development from our collaboration with Liquid Collective's Node Operator Working Group: the first open Ethereum Node Operator Performance Methodology. This standardized approach will help to objectively assess a node operator’s performance, providing additional transparency and consistency for the ecosystem. The Rated Validator Effectiveness Rating (RAVER) will be the benchmark for measuring performance. RAVER focuses on deterministic aspects of validator performance, providing insights into operational health and long-term reward potential. This methodology both benchmarks node operators and aids them in monitoring and improving performance.

Liquid Collective is excited to introduce the first open Ethereum Node Operator Performance Methodology, addressing the need for a standardized approach to objectively assess a node operator’s performance.  Performance and security data related to ETH validators and their operators is critical for staking’s development. Establishing a common language for evaluating their performance ensures clarity, consistency, and unlocks comparative assessment of a service provider’s long-term viability.
