MiA can't wait to read this document George Osborne. Interested to find out if Hume City Council will be actioning reuse and repair sheds/hubs in neighbourhoods in line with Sustainability Victoria sustainable strategic plan 2020- 2030. Also, repair cafes in the Hume municipality other than only one Sunbury which once a month for a couple of hours can't service the entire municipality. More resource recovery business opportunities at Hume's transfer stations. Resale of reusable and repairable e-products that have been discarded before end of life. Also check out the Circonomy SE model as a possibility for Hume.
Thanks for this Karen and Danny, and repair is part of our planning. In the new year Luis Lorenzo Fernandez and I will tee up a visit with you!
This looks really good. Let me know if you want to chat about mapping out your ecosystem and designing the opportunities for those in the Hume region✌🏽🌏🙏🏽
Circular Economy Officer @ Hume City Council | Promoting Circular Economy
9moThis month!! Circular Economy program, mostly subsidised by Hume council, starting on (29/01/2024). The initiative aims to help participants to become more competitive and efficient in terms of resources, through the design of a roadmap for circularity, which could be applied to a whole business or specific areas/processes. It is also a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations, share ideas and maybe even find opportunities to work together.
