The agenda item allowed highlighting the impact of conflict on women and the importance of women's contribution to conflict resolution and sustainable peace, in line with the #UN resolution 1325 on #Women, #Peace and #Security. The topic of focus this year was "Gender Equality: What's next?" - There is progress in this policy field and room for shaping what needs to be done because we are all equal today and always.
