When one creator wins, all creators win. Jay Clouse gets it. “Another thing I love about being a part of the Creator Network is that I get to do my part. In the last six months, I have sent 17,000 subscribers to other creators. One metric I pay really close attention to here is what percentage of my Recommendations convert. And I've had almost 50 percent of my Recommendations, including Paid Recommendations, convert. And to me, that's a really high signal of trust that your audience has in you. By contrast, about 28% of people recommending me convert. So, to me, that's very high. It's great for me to feel like there's almost parity there. You know, I have 17,000 subscribers on my list now from the Creator Network. I've sent 17,000 subscribers out. It feels good to do my part.” #creatoreconomy #emailmarketing

If you're trying to grow an audience of prospective students on a video platform like Youtube, Instagram, or TikTok, and the majority of your videos have mid or bottom of funnel appeal, don't be surprised at the slow growth. Organic momentum tends to happen more rapidly at the top of the funnel, where the content has a broader emotional appeal. That event recap video, the president reading an inspiring scripted message off the teleprompter, the drone shots with a poetic voiceover that says "your journey starts here"... isn't going to fly for people who don't already have a vested interest in your brand. Find out what your broader audience is interested in and point the camera (or iPhone) at that. Don't neglect more informational and persuasive content, just don't make it your main mode of operation.
