Mental health deserves the same level of attention and care as physical health. The brain is an organ, and mental illnesses like depression, addiction and anxiety are legitimate medical conditions - not weaknesses. We must destigmatize and treat mental health issues with the same urgency as physical ailments. Providing adequate access to mental health services should be a fundamental right in our society. Only by normalizing and prioritizing mental healthcare can we improve countless lives and promote overall well-being.
The “Love, Your Mind” campaign from our Huntsman Mental Health Institute and the Ad Council is dedicated to encouraging a more open, accepting and proactive society when it comes to mental health. Proud to be a part of this effort with the National Football League (NFL), National Basketball Association (NBA), Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Hockey League (NHL), Major League Soccer, the WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) and others in a series of PSAs featuring professional athletes’ “rituals” to care for their minds while competing and during everyday life.
Spot on, Tom.

4moTom, I cannot agree more. Mental illness is very real. It is a medical condition that needs to be treated and people who don’t understand the issues would be well served to research it. I personally have been on medications for my issues for over 25 years. Mental illness is not something to be ashamed of if you have it and we should never judge those who suffer.
