Introducing: Our 2024 Art of the Mind Artist Lineup! At M2G, we believe art can speak for us when words are not adequate. It serves as an inspiration piece throughout most of our development projects, and our ventures in philanthropy are no different. We have strategically partnered with local, regional, and national artists to commission artwork that is auctioned off at our fundraising gala, Art of the Mind at Tannahill's Music Hall, with all auction proceeds benefitting the mission and work of UT Southwestern Center for Depression Research and Clinical Care. Cruz Ortiz (@cruzortizart) Whitney Avra (@whitneyavra) Christy Stallop (@cstallop) John Miranda (@johnmiranda.art) Jacob Lovett (@jacoblovettart) Jay Wilkinson (@jaywilkinsonart) Nancy Lamb (@nancylamb1956) Jim Malone Daniel Blagg (@danielblaggart) Jim Woodson (@jimwoodsonart) Katie Murray (@katiepaintbrush) Chris Coleman (@chriscolemanart) Purchase tickets today: https://lnkd.in/ewfhgzam

Removing that DREAD😕 of numbers and replacing with CLARITY💡 . Profit Coach working with business owners to create a profitable business and have guilt-free spending in their personal life.
It was our wedding anniversary this week and so we went out for the 'anniversary dinner' on Saturday evening - which was fabulous at Number One in Edinburgh. We also went to an art exhibition at the wonderful Lemond Gallery (thanks Ken Lemond) where we treated ourselves to a couple of paintings. We both love collecting Scottish Art and we never know when we will come across a piece that we really want. That is why we have an 'art pot'. Money put aside each month so that we can buy something when we see it with no guilt or debate of whether we should be spending the money - that is what we have put the money aside for. I call it guilt-free spending and it takes the stress out of buying something you love and want rather than need. What would you like to build up a 'pot' for so you can spend guilt-free? #profitfirst #guiltfreespending #cashmanagement

If you've been following along, you'll have heard me ramble on about Atelier 17. But did you know the 100th anniversary of its founding is coming up in 2027? Under the leadership of the intrepid Christina Weyl, we've formed The Atelier 17 Project, a non-profit organization that encourages new research about the history of Atelier 17. We seek artists and art historians to partner with us in developing a variety of centennial projects in 2027 and to offer fresh perspectives about Atelier 17 and its members. Some possible methods of contribution include the following. Develop a centennial project: exhibitions, publications, one-off events such as a hands-on workshop or public forums, or other out-of-the-box ideas. New research: Consider sharing your research in an online workshop, which Christina is co-organizing with James Chadwick (University of Amsterdam). Abstracts are due April 30. Christina and James plan for the papers to form the basis of a centennial catalogue. Atelier 17’s Roster: Christina has updated the roster of Atelier 17 artists with 300 names. (Any list is based on Joann Moser’s list compiled in 1977.) We encourage you to reach out if you have any additional details to share. We also seek to fundraise towards a host of projects. There is a donate button over on the website. Stay tuned for news to come. Christina's gorgeous website is here: https://lnkd.in/g_dU66rG
