Multiple peer-reviewed and published patient surveys have identified the colonoscopy preparation as the worst part of a colonoscopy and the biggest deterrent to a future colonoscopy. #CostofCRC#SayNoToPrepHesitancy#ColorectalCancer
Last week at SOMA, Dr. Paul Parker delivered a compelling presentation on the life-saving impact of the AAJT-S, focusing on its critical role in controlling exsanguinating hemorrhages.
🛡️ Key Highlights from Dr. Parker's Presentation:
Critical Need: Non-compressible hemorrhage is a leading cause of preventable battlefield deaths.
Rapid Deployment: The AAJT-S can be applied in seconds.
Versatility in Application: The AAJT-S is suitable for junctional areas, including the pelvis and abdomen. This versatility makes it a critical tool for managing severe hemorrhages in various combat scenarios.
Dr. Parker's presentation underscored the AAJT-S as a minimally invasive solution that offers a critical window for surgical intervention, enhancing patient outcomes on the battlefield.

Today I have incredible news! For The Love Of Cups The Mammography Quality Standards Act, or MQSA, is officially enacted. This ruling by the FDA ensures standardized mammography care across the entire United States. Now, every woman and person getting a mammogram will receive a notification about dense breast tissue.
This monumental step, spearheaded by the late Nancy and Joe Cappello Nancy Capello, empowers us all to take control of our breast health. Remember, our best defense is advocacy and community care.
Visit our website for The Four Crucial Questions to Ask At Your Mammogram Appointment. Together, we're moving forward. Stay informed, stay strong!
What it means for you:
1) Today every person receiving a mammogram will be notified whether or not they have dense breast tissue.
2) The letter will only tell you if you “do” of “do not” have dense breast tissue.
3) You will need to talk to your provider to learn what classification of density you have on a range from 1 - 4.
Note: Your breast density status can change throughout your lifetime so you will want to pay attention to these notifications after every mammogram even if you were told you do not have dense breast tissue in the past.
This is a big first step in removing some of the many barriers to care.
Our best defense is still advocacy and community care.

🌊✨ "I haven't seen this clear in years!” Pioneering Clear Vision for Keratoconus Patients ✨🌊

As the Principal Investigator for WaveDyn, I am thrilled to share a breakthrough in correcting higher-order aberrations with impression-based sclerals. Our latest video showcases the significant improvement in aberration data for one of our patients.
This patient, who has struggled with keratoconus for years, left our clinic beaming with joy. He said, "I haven't seen this clear in years! The last time I saw this well was before my keratoconus diagnosis."
I teach my student doctors that every individual with irregular astigmatism from keratoconus once had clear vision.
My mission is to help them reclaim that clarity. With WaveDyn, we are striving to restore their sight as close as possible to their natural vision before the onset of the disease.
👁️✨ Watch the video to see how HOA correcting sclerals improved vision from standard sclerals and the bare eye with WaveDyn analysis.
