'After a rigorous strategic assessment of our organization and a competitive search process, we are pleased to announce Mr. Holden's new role,' shared Brian Munroe, Chair of the Board’s Succession Committee. Mr. Holden has directly served the global community of liver patients and their families for more than four years with GLI. We eagerly anticipate working with Larry to achieve our strategic goals to scale the deployment and delivery of our awareness, education, policy, and support to an increasing number of communities. Mr. Holden succeeds Founder Donna Cryer, JD, a pioneer in the patient engagement movement and innovator across digital, clinical, and policy arenas. During an organ retrieval, a donor previously declared brain-dead showed unexpected signs of life, leading the operating team to cancel the procedure.
