🗞️ NEWS -- Max Power Mining Corp (CSE: MAXX) | (OTC: MAXXF) provides a corporate update: ☑️ Willcox Lithium Project -- Initial assays are expected shortly from first-ever diamond drilling at the Willcox Playa in southeast Arizona with MAX Power having completed a Phase 1, 5-hole program consisting of 6,062 feet (1,848 metres) on state ground ⚒️ 🗣️ Mr. Peter Lauder, Senior Geologist and Exploration Manager for MAX Power, commented: “The first five diamond drill holes at Willcox have supported initial theories regarding prospectivity of intense resistivity and gravimetric low anomalies at the Playa. The southern block on BLM ground features the largest and most extreme anomalies on MAX Power’s property. This bodes very well for extending the discovery of clay-rich sediments with high lithium values. Onsite LIBS analysis (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy Z-903) of the claystones remains highly encouraging, and with respect to the brine potential there is also evidence of a strong evaporative environment in this fourth drill hole. We are continuing to step-out aggressively." Highlights: · Multiple distinct fluid sequences were encountered in WP-23-04 at depths of 32, 119, 458, 578, 668 and at 1,200 feet, within a broader lithium claystone sequence. For this characterization, it is necessary to model the gravity flow of the mine. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗬𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟮 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁   We pleased to announce the imminent commencement of the CY2024 Phase 2 exploration program at our 100%-owned Minyari Dome Gold-Copper Project in the Paterson Province, Western Australia.   Program Overview: - The Phase 2 drilling program will commence this week, comprising up to 70 drill holes for a total of 11,000 metres:  - 66 reverse circulation (RC) drill holes totalling 10,000 metres  - 4 diamond core drill holes totalling 1,000 metres - Key objectives include:  - Expanding the existing Mineral Resources at the GEO-01 deposit and Minyari Southeast  - Exploring new gold discovery opportunities at high-priority targets such as GEO-01 South and North, the Minyari Southeast extension, and the Minyari Plunge target  - Collecting samples for metallurgical testing to support future pre-feasibility studies   Upcoming Milestones: - An updated Minyari Dome Scoping Study is scheduled for release next week - The A$17 million sale of Antipa's share in the Citadel Joint Venture to Rio Tinto is expected to be finalised by the end of the month, increasing Antipa's cash reserves to approximately A$23 million - Initial assay results from Phase 2 drilling are anticipated by December 2024   Our Managing Director, Roger Mason, commented:  “The RC rig will start spinning later this week at our Minyari Dome Project, with the diamond rig set to arrive on site before month-end. Big news out of Arizona this morning with Max Power Mining Corp #MAXX #MAXXF confirming the discovery of near-surface lithium-rich clays over a large area of their Willcox Playa property. Notably, they've also successfully separated the lithium from the clay through their collaboration with UC Berkley. NR: https://lnkd.in/gXwPyBbV Highlights: -Each of the first three triangular-spaced drill holes in the northern section of MAX Power’s property, the Discovery Zone covering an area 1,640 feet x 1,640 feet x 2,300 feet, intersected lithium at shallow levels over significant widths, including 15.5 feet grading 774.8 ppm lithium within a broader whole rock interval of 184 feet averaging 570.8 ppm lithium in drill hole WP-23-02 -When separating the clay fraction from the sand/silt fraction, lithium assays increased markedly, by as much as 47%, assaying up to 1,447 ppm lithium -This early-stage discovery remains open in all directions with MAX Power also exploring options to expand its land package -Based on a compilation of MAX Power’s work to date, and historical data, geologists believe the Discovery Zone represents just a fraction of the scale potential of Willcox with higher-grade mineralization expected in areas of increased clay content. #Mining #Lithium #EV #BatteryMetals
